Although I have purchased properties from Auction house, today was my first time selling through them.Olivia & her team have been amazing from start to finish. Olivia’s communication has been very professional & prompt regarding any queries that I had, she explained the process from start to finish and guided me through it. The marketing made sure they gained the most interest they could to enable maximising the sale amount. The team kept me up to date weekly regarding current interest on the lot which was for sale. I would highly recommend buying or selling through them.

We were dealt with by Gary Davison who could not have been more helpful and informative. We felt very safe in his hands and were happy to leave all the arrangements to him.Although the property didn't sell at the first auction, Gary managed to find a buyer who had decided not to bid on the day, and after some haggling a sale was agreed. The buyer did mess us around with changing their mind about the price, as well as dragging their heels over deadlines, but Gary worked well on our behalf and eventually pinned them down to our satisfaction. He just wouldn't let it go!Many thanks, Gary, for your persistance!

Some of the worst customer service and experience i have had in the property business.After agreeing terms and price then to be told the terms were not relevant. Then to have Auction House Scotland deduct fees from buyer and seller before completion even although this was never in my terms and never agreed was surprising.Upon completion then I find out that despite AHS been given the keys they deny all knowledge of having any instructions.What really was the icing on the cake was the fact that their representatives thought it was acceptable to try to contact my solicitor directly to push the process along to their tune.Although the manor in which they dealt with my frustration via a chain of condescending emails could possibly have been the most frustrating.If you are looking to waste money, time and pay percentages to be treated like a p*rick then these are your guys.
Thank you for sharing your concerns. With regards to your claims, there was a pre auction offer made, which you accepted under auction terms. At no point were you advised that the auction conditions were not relevant.With regards to your fees, the standard process is to deduct your fee from your deposit and return your deposit to your solicitor on settlement. This is the process that was followed, as outlined in your signed contract. We also speak to solicitors for regular updates for completion, again this is standard process. In this instance, the sale ran late and we were in communication to ensure settlement would take place. This was in your best interest. We are here to sell your property and to manage the process. 0 follow up and 0 cooperation got from the team. Paid for deposit and for administration fees including legal packs and etc and end up no one sent the packs and no follow up from anyone to assist the whole process. The only communication that I get is to ask for payment, money money money. After paying for, no assistance NOTHING!They told mortgage team the purchase had been cancelled and not letting the valuator to their job.Second appointment for the valuator to go, they don't cooperate and not giving access to valuator.They just want to make a lot of problem so that they can make you forfeit the upfront money that you paid.When you try to get a reason for their unprofessional, they will only tell you it's all your fault for not being able to do the whole process on time. Which, the issue lies with them.Unrecommended company.Ms G Wood will act like she don't know anything and push the responsibilities to someone else and keep quiet and not assist.Mr S the so call area manager is even worse, not only he did not review the whole case and will only tell you it's all your own fault. He only know how to push all the faults to you and make you forfeit the money.BAD COMPANY NO ASSISTANCE NO FOLLOW UP THEY JUST WANT TO GET YOUR MONEY FROM THE INITIAL PAYMENT AND DO THE SAME ROTATION AGAIN AND AGAIN

The timeline for acquiring a property via an unconditional auction (typically 20 working days between exchange and completion), can make financing the purchase with a mortgage challenging, but our team are always willing to work with you and the vendor to try and facilitate this. I recently dealt with Auction House West Yorkshire, as I needed to sell a house which wasn't suitable for sale by a traditional Estate Agent due to it needing rewiring. Their service has been excellent. From the very start of the process, when Dan carried out a property visit to do a video walk-through, right up to the day of the auction, I was given regular, detailed updates. And, I'm very pleased to say, the property sold on the day of the auction, for 20 percent more than the initial valuation from a local Estate Agent. And with much less hassle, as there was no need for a property survey.Highly recommended company with a genuine focus on helping its customers.
