GoogleWe recently sold our house through BM using Michael as our agent. We chose them as they had a good reputation between neighbours who were selling with them too. Found that we had lots of people viewing pre-lockdown as well as encouraging safe viewings during lockdown period. I found them very accommodating and quick to respond to any queries regardless of how urgent the request was! GoogleBernard Marcus has been total inept in renting our flat where to date they failed to provide me a full invoice setting out the rental paid before they took their fees. They have also failed to tell me where the deposit has been lodged. Before the tenant had taken up the agreement I sent them a landlords insurances policy asking them to ensure all points were covered so I could place the insurance . When this was in place I sent the insurance draft with the references only to be informed that they did not meet the ratio set out in the policy, thus I have had to cancel the policy . Adding insult to injury I am still waiting receipt of the signed manifest some three weeks after the flat was taken. During this time I have been sending emails (almost daily)and receiving replies along the lines "head office should have contacted you." I would recommend that you do not engage them on any rental .

GoogleI found Nathaniel really helpful throughout the process of buying my first property! I was so nervous as I had no experience at all but I have to say that it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I arranged to meet the mortgage advisor who was also very helpful and he was able to compare the market for me which helped me save some money in comparison to my bank. A few weeks later I found the perfect flat! Jill the sales progressor helped to push things through in no time at all, thanks so much team. I would definitely recommend any of my friends or family to get in touch with barnard marcus and I look forward to using them in the future when I decide to sell.
