GoogleAnthoulla was absolutely brilliant in helping us with our house purchase. It was a long and painful process due to delays with the chain through no fault of her own her own, she chased numerous parties on a daily basis and called me almost everyday to keep me updated. She took the time to get to know us and our property needs and found us exactly what we were looking for. Ashley's help as our mortgage advisor has also been invaluable - his expert advice allowed us to secure our perfect home in a way that was affordable and achievable. Once our offer was accepted, Ann began to support us with the sales process and she has been wonderful at giving solicitors a gentle nudge to ensure that we were not forgotten at the back of a long list! The whole team have been excellent and we are grateful for their support in guiding us through the complicated process at such a uniquely difficult time to buy. The progress has been really swift and communication has been outstanding, previous to my current completion I had a sale fall through with a different estate agent, Glenn has constantly reassured me in this sale. I look forward to using Jones&Chapman services again when I come to remortgaging my property !

Got in touch with them to purchase a property, have just put an offer through, but the experience just up to this point has been extremely disappointing! Viewings were not organised very well, wasted over an hour waiting to view a property and it turns out they didn't know who ever was supposed to take us isn't. The person at the office didn't think this was disorganised and was very rude! Put an offer on a property that was confirmed it's no longer under auction, but it is! Not helpful or professional at all! Do not recommend!

I wish I could give less than one star. Jones Chapman Allerton Road - what a mess. Consistently lieing to me, getting things wrong, overcharging me, telling lies to the tenant, not following through with what they have said. They say 'I will ensure this will be sent over now' then radio silence for 5 days. This has been much more hard work than managing the property myself. Avoid at all costs.

GoogleI would like to leave a personal review for Anthoulla Kattou, sales progression manager at jones&chapman. This lady is the greatest asset of this company. There were many hiccups in the sale of my flat and without her help I would have never managed to complete the sale. Her communication skills, perseverance and work ethic are second to none. GoogleI'd like to say a huge thanks to J&C; despite the little knowledge I had on it, they helped me; especially Glenn, in all the works that has to be done in a very professional way. I can clearly remember how he helped me despite being on a holiday. I can guarantee you can that you can put your trust and faith in them to help you move forward with all your work.

GoogleBeware, if you're a tenant renting and not a landlord / buying a place, they don't care about your problems because you aren't bringing in a lot of money - This is the feeling I got trying to get anything done with Jones & Chapman (Allerton road). And from reading the other reviews apparently just avoid them in all cases. No communication, poor attitude and very unhelpful on multiple occasions. This was over a year ago as we spent a long time trying to get in contact to get our deposit back which was also poorly managed (not at all managed) by jones & chapman. For example I spent a few weeks sleeping on a friend's floor as the flat wasnt ready at short notice when we were due to move in, I managed to extend a few weeks with my old landlord but eventually had to move out. Every week they would tell us next week, then they told us we definitely would move in next week, didnt happen. Every day we would call them, every day they would say "definitely tomorrow, we'll call you when we know" Every day we would struggle to get in touch with them to find out they needed yet another day, they never called us back when they claimed they would, we had to chase them at every turn. When we finally got the keys and moved in, there were holes with cables coming out of them where a few of the lightbulbs should have been, we learned during winter that the radiators didn't work and we had to figure out the issue with the boiler and drain them ourselves. Trying to get the deposit back they just washed their hands of us and pointed us back at our landlord (Who was great by the way, no issue with him) At every turn they took as little responsibility as possible and pointed the finger somewhere else (Taking a week to even reply to maybe half of our emails). Also when we moved out and were trying to get in contact with them about the deposit, our main point of contact via email was removed from the system and we weren't notified until we called the branch to ask why we weren't getting any replies. Avoid. Just about everything with my new estate agent is heavenly by comparison. Would give 0 stars if possible.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

I was delighted to be assisted in my search by such wonderful and dedicated professionals. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Afeefah Khan. She was attentive to our specific needs as tenants and extremely knowledgeable. Afeefah’s amiable and pleasant manner on the phone was a delight. She was extremely reliable and never failed to answer our queries by phone and by email. I was also extremely impressed when witnessing the teamwork of the letting staff. The respect that they have for each other was clearly evident and this truly instils confidence in their people. I would like to sincerely thank Afeefah for her diligence and efficient administration. I would also like to thank Alex. GoogleI recently purchased a property through Jones & Chapman, where much of my experience was handled by Ann K in their Sales Progression Team. Ann was excellent and a great support throughout the whole process, keeping me informed of any updates as and when they occurred. Furthermore I believe we would still be stuck in a long conveyancing process if it weren't for Ann's support and negotiating on all sides of the fence, liaising with ourselves, the vendor and maintaining the pressure on the solicitors to see the deal across the finish line. I think i've spoken with Ann twice a week for the last 6 months, so will miss our catch-ups! Excellent service from a great sale team: Ashley provided the very efficient mortgage advice, Bobbi have kept us updated with everything along with way through all processes. Many thanks to Ann K on the Sales Progression Team who worked very hard to negotiate with seller and solicitors and kept us updated everything before exchanging the contract. I highly recommend to use Jones & Chapman to purchase property.

All bad reviews not surprised! I have had a frustrating experience with the lettings department in the Prenton branch due to poor communication and a lack of professionalism. Emails are frequently ignored or followed up, and important information is not forwarded as it should be. The team seems disorganized and unresponsive, failing to follow up on queries in a timely manner. The overall customer service has been lackluster, with little effort to keep tenants or landlords informed. A more proactive and efficient approach is desperately needed to improve the quality of service. Unfortunately, based on my experience I would not recommend dealing with this department. All rude staff aswel!

The purchase of my flat after downsizing was made more difficult with a dear friend who was departing . GoogleHonestly couldn’t have received better customer service. Bobbi assisted me with my move in every way possible and really went out of her way to help me. I could honestly not have asked or expected more. I was moving out in a hurry and under quite difficult circumstances and Bobbi was so efficient; always had time to speak to me, kept me up to date with everything and genuinely went above and beyond to get me moved into my new home as quickly as possible. GoogleHaving found our previous home through the Allerton branch of Jones and Chapman, we were keen to stick with them when we moved. Having had bad experiences with letting agents in the past, we can’t praise the staff at the Allerton branch enough for how helpful they have been through both house moves. With our most recent move, Nicola and Alex were fantastic; both so friendly and supportive. All the staff are always polite and happy to help. Having family that rent their houses through Jones and Chapman also, we know how invaluable they are from both a landlord and tenants’ perspective.
