We sold our house through Heritage Estates in early 2026, though had previously listed our house through Criena previously before our circumstances meant we had to take it off the market. On both occasions, Criena was beyond helpful and communicative; always helping us understand every final detail and decision, but without being forceful with her opinions. Moving house is meant to be one of the most stressful experiences one can go through, but Criena made everything as easy as possible. Very personable, very professional, and, of course, if I were to move again, I'd only go through Heritage Estates and Criena.

We were genuinely lucky that Criena was the agent advertising the property we ended up buying. As first time buyers, we'd heard all the horror stories, delays, poor communication, chains collapsing, people chasing for weeks with no answers. I was expecting at least some of that. It never came. Once the offer was agreed, everything just moved. If we needed an update, we got one. If something had to be checked with the seller, it came back quickly and clearly. No mixed messages, no chasing, no feeling that things were drifting. The property was empty and part of a forward purchase, so it should have been straightforward, but those are exactly the deals that can still go wrong if no one is paying attention. Here, it stayed on track the whole way through. No last minute surprises, no unnecessary stress. And that’s the big one, we actually got our first home without the process turning into a nightmare... Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Heritage Estates based on my experience with their Letting Service. While the Sales Service initially appeared promising, the Letting process fell significantly short of professional standards. There was a clear lack of due diligence in vetting the tenant for my property. Essential checks, including affordability assessments and other key verifications, were either not carried out or inadequately handled. As a result, my property was let to a tenant who ultimately accrued arrears of over £14,000, leading to severe financial strain. Despite numerous complaints and raising these concerns with Heritage Estates, there was no acknowledgement of responsibility or effort to address the failings in their process. I was forced to take legal action against the tenant, which incurred further costs and stress. Although I eventually secured an eviction, I am left with a substantial debt and no resolution from either the tenant or Heritage Estates. To date, there has been no follow-up or communication from the agency regarding this matter. This experience has been deeply disappointing and has had a lasting impact on my financial well-being. I had expected far greater professionalism and accountability from Heritage Estates. Based on this experience, I regretfully cannot recommend their services
