We used James Agent for selling a property and we couldn’t ask for a better experience. Adam James was quick to reply to all my queries, honest, up-front and reliable. There was no fuss, and everything was dealt with efficiently, courteously and respectfully. As I didn’t live at the property that was being sold, it was a great experience to have access to an App on my phone that told me who was booked in to see the house, when their appointment was, and if they had made an offer for the house. This avoided having many phone calls regarding the house sale, which for someone with a busy working life like me, was really helpful indeed. Very highly recommended!

Adam and Donald provided great service throughout the sale of my property. Adam was helpful, insightful on the local market, and really cares about both purchasers and sellers. James Agent did the viewings on my behalf which was so much easier with the number of people they had through the door! I appreciated Adam’s honesty and integrity throughout the process and felt comfortable having discussion with him. James Agent are a new type of estate agents, head and shoulders above the tired and complacent old high street agent/solicitors that are the norm in Scotland. Donald was very professional, friendly, and efficient. Add to that their use of modern technology means they can be contacted outside office hours, and the seller can use an app which lists viewings and delivers feedback. The fees are lower too! We sold our house within days, and were kept informed every step of the way. We have moved house many times, and without doubt James Agent are the best we have encountered.

Adam recently helped us sell our house in Newtongrange. From the outset he was great. Bang on with his valuation of the property, something Purple Bricks were miles away from. I think he’s got a surveyor background which is really helpful when it comes to getting a realistic and accurate valuation. The whole package and one off fee is really attractive. We had been quoted over £2k more from other agencies for less services. The photos and description were excellent quality. Also the legal company he set us up with for the conveyancing we’re excellent. The sale was quite tricky due to the timings but he kept at it and after 6 weeks of being messed around and an offer being withdrawn 2 weeks into a 4 week move in date we eventually secured an excellent offer. I’d highly recommend Adam and his team if you’re selling your property. Great service at a very good price. Thanks again Adam and all the best. Craig & Sarah.
