GoogleMajority of my contact has been with Billy Newlands who has been incredible! Met with Billy late last year when we decided to rent out our property. He was very friendly, approachable, just the right amount of professional. Met with several other companies on the same day who all became very overbearing and asked irrelevant intrusive questions, so I felt very comfortable with Billy. We had a delay of quite a few months due to renovation work needed and Billy always kept in touch every now and then to see how we were getting on. It’s a new experience for me and he never hesitated to break down costs, explain things in layman’s terms for me, even if I have likely asked the same question several times. Great guy and asset to the team! I am knocking off one star as unfortunately so far I have not quite had the same experience with the rest of the team. Had portfolio managers and other members of the team query things with me that I feel should not have reached me, such as a repair report from tenant that was actually a request to relocate plumbing that is already in working condition. Hopefully just some teething issues. Thanks so much to Billy and team for an overall happy and great experience thus far!

Sydney from Mann Woolwich was our representative for house viewing. Sydney was very professional, patient and understanding towards us during our house viewing (for the third time). We took our own time to look around and she was really patient throughout the process.When we had queries about a few things inside the property she diligently checked with the sellers to keep us informed. There have been circumstances when we had been delayed to our visit, she was very understanding and helpful.

Our experience with Mann Sales and Letting Agents Strood has been deeply disappointing. As someone with experience in leadership, I can confidently say that the issues my family faced clearly stem from leadership, as the agency has failed to take accountability for their poor service. The signs were there from the very first calls and continued all the way through. Appointment punctuality and coordination were major issues from the beginning. Scheduled viewings were consistently delayed, leaving us in uncomfortable situations and forcing us to personally show prospective buyers around our property. This lack of punctuality and disregard for our concerns was unacceptable. This not only inconvenienced us but also left us feeling uncomfortable and vulnerable. Moreover, prospective buyers also expressed dissatisfaction with their poor experience e.g left waiting outside properties, unclear instructions and poor communication.Transparency regarding the terms of the sole agency contract was also lacking. Critical details, such as the length of the agreement, were not adequately discussed, leaving us feeling misled and questioning the integrity of the process.Furthermore, the advertising of our property on Rightmove and other platforms was subpar. We were left to request enhancements and updates, reflecting poorly on the agency's commitment to effective marketing.Despite our attempts to address these issues, the agency has refused to take responsibility and has closed ranks. Even after following the 'official' complaints process, they have refused to allow us to alter the length of the contract or even to move to a multi-agency agreement, which is a basic and straightforward solution that can easily be done and has been advised by other professionals in the industry.I strongly caution against entrusting your property sale to Mann Sales and Letting Agents Strood. Should you decide to proceed with them, heed this advice: never concede to a sole agency contract, demand meticulous attention to the advertising of your property, and scrutinise every detail of the contract, particularly its duration. I firmly advocate for a contract length of no more than 4 weeks or 28 days. Furthermore, be resolute in avoiding coercion into utilising their in-house financial services. Despite our repeated insistence on retaining our trusted brokers, Mann Co persistently pressured us until we were compelled to inquire whether our decision to use our own brokers would pose a problem, emphasising the importance of asserting your preferences firmly.Overall, our experience has been disappointing, and we hope our feedback prompts Mann Sales and Letting Agents to reassess their practices, processes, and procedures and strive for improvement in the future. Now, we find ourselves left to wait out the length of the contract as they refuse to alter it. As a family with two young children, aged 2 and 4, it's evident that our needs have been consistently overlooked and disregarded throughout this entire ordeal.

GoogleWe have been using Mann for the first time during this global crisis, as our previous tenancy is coming to an end. We were worried that we would have a tough time, but it was the opposite. We can’t praise them enough. They’ve been extremely responsive, quick in answering our endless queries and have generally came across very caring. GoogleArriving at Chatham from Croydon, there was no consideration of our time and expended journey in coming to see the property in question thus showing very poor customer service. There was a strong indication of lack of care from the receptionist.I wouldn't recommend anyone to do business here.

Worst estate agent, whole company is full of scam (its mortgage advice, solicitor panel). They have taken advance payment of £399 for solicitor search and £798 for mortgage for my potential buy. Later the seller pulled from process and I have asked for refund, but they are not refunding my money. This is worst company in the UK to deal with property, mortgage, solicitor panel.

I noticed when I tried to move house a lot of letting agents where under a lot of pressure and came off as if they didnt care as they was too busy but Margaret was excellent from day one. I am writing this review of Morgan Knott, who is an Estate Agent for Mann Countrywide. Morgan showed me around a property a few months ago, and I thought she was knowledgeable about the market and had good ideas about potential property renovation. She was also a good communicator in my opinion, so I was always clear how likely my bids were to be successful, and what the thoughts of the vendor were. Good job!
