I couldn't recommend the staff highly enough... We have had the privilege of Sam working tirelessly, diligently, patiently and with the utmost professionalism, on our behalf, to get us to our end goal. Her regular updates, keeping us informed at every step of the process, ensured we were aware of every stage of development. The expertise and knowledge demonstrated left us in no doubt as to her ability in concluding the sale, despite several setbacks, during which she maintained her calm, yet authoritative, demeanour. After what I perceived to be a lengthy process (whilst being reassured to trust the process!) we finally exchanged, and can only thank Sam's determination and resilience for this result. Billy also had the tough task of dealing with us in Sam's absence and rose to the challenge admirably. Definitely a company to be recommended, as the calibre of staff is exceptional - Thank you, all.

We’ve just completed on our new bungalow and I can’t thank Harvey Brooks enough, especially Billy, who was outstanding throughout the whole process. We were actually about to head back to Essex during our relocation search when this bungalow appeared. It was a last‑minute viewing request and Billy somehow made it happen. That single viewing changed everything for us. From that moment on, Billy’s communication was consistently polite, professional and genuinely reassuring. He kept us updated at every stage and made what could have been a very stressful experience feel manageable. There were a few bumps along the way, but Billy was calm, supportive and always on top of things. We also had help from Sam and Charlotte, who were equally polite and professional whenever we spoke with them. Having the valuation was the beginning of our house sale journey. A lovely lady named Ella, then called to take pics ready for posting on the website. Once the sale board went up it all seemed very real. The viewing appointments came thick and fast and then we accepted a full asking price offer. Harvey Brooks were great in advising us every step of the way and sometimes, more information was given from their office than the solicitors office! They were so calm and professional in all their dealings with us and this was greatly appreciated and their communication was second to none. The whole set up from Harvey Brooks is professional and confident in every way, from beginning to end and helped us massively in our sale process. I went to the same school as the owner Harvey. He was the same then as he is now; genuine, honest with zero arrogance. Throughout the sale Harvey checked in with me at regular intervals, gave sound advice and respectfully didn't always agree with my opinion. There was no sales pitch as Harvey voiced a structured plan in general conversation. The staff team are extremely pleasant, helpful and thorough, especially Billy. We recently sold our first house with Harvey Brooks, with it being our first home we’ve never sold a house before but Helen and the team made it pretty easy and straightforward but I’d be lying if I said it was stress free but that was out of their control , even after our initial buyer pulled out they managed to find another one literally the next day. One thing I’d say it’s definitely easier to get in touch with members of the team via email than over the phone as 9 times out of 10 the person you want to speak to is on another line and the person who answered the phone isn’t always up to date regarding your sale/purchase.

Came round to our house straight away to value the property as we needed a quick sale, and the house was straight on the market with great photos and a thorough and professional listing. Quickly attracted lots of viewings and we had an offer on the very first day which went to completion! The ladies in the office (in particular Roberta and Helen) were absolutely superb and helped rescue the sale at least twice when the buyer played up, I can’t thank them enough for that. We decided to sell our property with Harvery Brooks after trying for over a year with 2 other estate agents. They had sold a couple of other properties in our street in that time, in fairly short time, so we decided to give them a go as a final attempt to sell.... ...And boy do we wish we went straight for them! When Harvey first came to value our property, he said that we would notice a difference in their service to others, and we thought that it was just the usual sales talk, but we were happy to be proven wrong on that front. The entire process with Harvey Brooks, and their team was a pleasure, they were all very approachable, and you never felt like you were bothering them when you rang (which towards the end was multiple times a day for weeks), and the where always helpful. Of the estate agents that we tried, they were the only ones where we actually got updates from them, without having to ask, so we always knew what was going on. We were fortunate enough to also buy our new house through them and this is where they really went above and beyond, chasing further up the chain then there were delays, and chasing solicitors when all we were getting was "waiting responses" type answers, meaning we got actual information on them on why things weren't progressing, and they pushed the progress where they could. We honestly think that without Harvery Brooks, not only would we have not sold our old property, but we would still be waiting for the new property, as all other parties seemed to be dragging their heels. I would like to give special mention to Roberta as well, she was our main contact through the process, and although the above applies to everyone we dealt with at Harvery Brooks, Roberta was a star, and always a pleasure to speak to, and the first point of call when we wanted something chasing. If we ever need to use an estate agent again, we will be going straight to Harvery Brooks, as they where leaps and bounds above the other estate agents we had tried.
