Chloe was fantastic from the very beginning. Knowledgeable, approachable and honest. Great service and would highly recommend. Kirsty from lettings was also fantastic and initially referred me to the sales department. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both departments.

What a dreadful estate agency! Unfortunately for me the house I bought was being marketed by the Accrington branch so was stuck with them. In the beginning of my purchase was sent a little video from Kieran who told me he was looking after my sale ... and that was the last I heard from him! Emails and texts were ignored by him, and only answered the phone once (but he didn't pass on the information). Got a few letters from them early on but these were a couple of weeks out of date and so were misleading if you took them at face value.Moving on, when the sale dragged in the middle due to solicitors dragging their feet (both sides), so I finally started to hear from them again. Nasty phone calls from rude staff being demanding. There's one nice lady (Kayleigh?) there but that's about it. They also got into a row with my solicitor as they lied to the vendor about me, and said it was because of what the solicitor said (I saw the emails between them, Keenan's make it up as they go along). The vendor lost confidence and put the house back on the market, which they didn't need to do!Fortunately despite Keenan's best efforts I did buy the house. It did take them the best part of two months to take their sign off my property though!So if you want a agency that will turn up to viewings without the keys to get in (true story), will tell you a property is vacant when it isn't (also true story), not send you info on a property (still waiting...) and just plain not turn up for viewings (also true!) - and this is all before you buy with them - then this is the agency for you.
Emma, please contact your local branch on Monday, ask to speak to Emma or Faye and we will endeavour to get this resolved for you.

False promises for the sale of our property with similar properties selling within days of going on the market and we had no viewings. Use another estate agent or do it yourself is my advice.

Totally unhinged behaviour from estate agent. who will remain unnamed. We made the mistake of getting Keenans to value our home. Not only did they greatly undervalue it, when we declined their services, the young man who valued our house turned up, on our doorstep at 9 am the next morning demanding an explanation. (His expectations were managed during his valuation. I had told him we had three others in mind).That morning, my husband answered the door, the agent in question didn't introduce himself, but asked if i was there. As I had managed the valuation my husband didn't know who he was. To make matters worse, when my husband told the agent that he was going to go in the house and ask me, the agent tried to step into the house, uninvited.... Causing my husband to put his hand out to stop him from entering our home. I declined to speak with the young man, so my husband dealt with him. The agent grilled him on why we didn't pick Keenans and who we had gone with instead -- poo-pooing our choice.For context we ended up selling our home for £40k more than Keenans valued it for, it sold within three weeks of being on the market. And we sold it for free on an online portal.

We choose Keenan’s Swinton to sell our property. Please don’t make the same mistake!Firstly they overvalued the property massively.The customer service from this company is non existent.After 3 months with a lack of interest and viewings due to their poor sales pitch we decided to change estate agents.After giving notice to them to pull the property from their company by surprise in the last week of the notice they had a potential buyer who wanted to view! We was then told they had received an offer on the property to which we accepted. Unfortunately we had to constantly keep chasing Keenan’s for any information as we was not updated. This proved stressful for us as the lack of communication was horrendous, couldn’t get hold of the branch manager after numerous calls and excuses from the sales team like she wasn’t in the office or she was on a course etc. promises of phone calls back but they never materialised. We was stressed and stuck in limbo for weeks to find out they couldn’t make contact with the potential buyer. This left us thinking that there was never any offer just stalling tactics to sell with them and not our new agent. Selling a home can be stressful enough you don’t need the added pressure from an incompetent company like this they don’t warrant the one star but unfortunately there’s no option for zero.

Having moved home eight times and also managed a couple of major company relocations earlier in my career, I have a fair idea of the level of assistance estate agents can offer and tend to use them because of their ability to identify a 'good' buyer and to manage the post-offer process. Our initial impressions of Keenan's was positive; the local office was very friendly and achieved our asking price reasonably quickly -although our's was a very sellable house, to be fair. From there everything went downhill. The representative we had been dealing with left and from that point the local office took no further interest. We were 'managed' by someone from a distant office who appeared not to have been briefed about our situation and who by his own admission did not pick up a variety of significant issues affecting our buyer which ultimately caused the sale to come close to falling through. I found myself frequently having to tell him what was going on elsewhere in the chain. He was pleasant enough, but I wanted more than this for the fee I was paying. At the same time I received regular feedback from our buyer and also from another interested party that it was all but impossible to contact Keenan's; phones at the local office went unanswered and people had to come directly to us for information. We received no messages from the local office even when we completed; this confirmed the impression that their initial welcome and friendliness was rather phoney. I wouldn't recommend them to others in the Clitheroe area - there are several better local options.

Hi just a warning to people Keenans rawtenstall advertising a property in bacupWe fell in love with, had the survey and local searches done at a cost of around £1500 only to find out that what they advertised was totally misleading the property advertised parking for six vehicles which the property does not have.very poor communication from our initial offer so anybody thinking of buying from these please check everything before making an offer we feel so let down, and would never use them again.

Keenans have been consistently good performers as letting agents and property managers. I've had very few issues; my property and tenant are well managed, and their processes are relatively stress free. I've recently been working with Joe W on contract renewal. He’s been very efficient and professional.Only room for improvement is updates and follow up. Keenans are excellent at informing you when issues occur and assisting in finding a solution, but sometimes it can take a prompt to find out if there has been progress or if works have been completed. However, when asked, I’ve always had a quick and professional response.
