The management of the property I stayed in in Sheffied consider it’s tenants as numbers(££) other than people.paid premium for a one bedroom apartment in the heart of Sheffied.but unfortunately had to move to another city.was made to pay a huge fine as much as 1month rent even after I offered to have the tenancy agreement transferred.The house was put up for rent on the market and was marked up by £50. They Had prospective members of the public come view the apartment while I was still in there and within a week it was rented even with the mark up.I was glad I could help by providing unhindered access to the property and left it In prestige condition.fast forward to me getting back my deposit after I voluntarily asked the agency to get thier own cleaning team and paid a premium of about £115 as I was told it would be “DEEP CLEANING “..woke up to an email to say I left the apartment in a disappointing state hence I would be charged an extra £300 for damages.I won’t stand for that as I believe this is day light robbery wanting to fleece me of my deposit after you had successfully rented the apartment with a good mark up and turn around to say I left the house in a deplorable state an apartment that was taken off the market a week after it was listed with successful multiple viewings and no complaints from the team during viewings???please guys be careful while dealing with this Company.I won’t take this day light robbery laying down hence I am advising members of the public always use the carrot and stick approach dealing with these guys else you would be taken for a ride.I would keep you guys posted as things unfold

I am a landlord and the Manchester branch is managing my property. for the past whole? month , all I have receivded are wrong information and lies. we got told that a cleaning service has been arranged on a certain date and it turns out that it has never been done ! we got told that two broken freezer drawers have been ordered from their suppliers but after two weeks ,it turns out they have never been ordered ! our tenant have moved out on 2nd of may and they should have got the water meter reading and electricity meter on the same day but we found out this has never been done ! i rang the branch and asked Mark to provide me with a mangers phone number so that I can make a complaint , he said he is the manager and I can only complaint to him ! aweful, unorganized should never be trusted !

FacebookI would strongly advise all tenants and landlords to proceed with extreme caution before doing business with Intus lettings. I have been a tenant with several other agents, and they are by some margin the most dishonest, unprofessional, unhelpful and unresponsive letting agency I have ever had the misfortune to encounter.
Throughout our tenancy, they refused to respond to requests for maintenance, which caused the condition of the property to deteriorate significantly. However, they were never hesitant to impose significant annual rent increases, the only regular communication we received.
At the conclusion of the tenancy it took three months to reclaim my deposit from the DPS, as Intus refused to cooperate at every stage of the process and repeatedly stalled for the maximum amount of time by refusing to communicate with either me or the DPS. Their (lack of) actions caused me considerable inconvenience (including endless phone calls and a visit to a solicitor) and financial hardship.
Had Intus agreed to independent adjudication of the dispute, I am confident that I had sufficient evidence for the matter to be resolved quickly and in my favour.
I was eventually repaid in full (with the exception of two small deductions which I agreed were my responsibility) which reinforces my belief that Intus had no evidence for the exaggerated and unfounded claims they made on my deposit.
The issues related to the deposit were further exacerbated by poor administration and record keeping (Intus failed to conduct inventories and did not invite me to a check-out inspection).
In the name of fairness, I even contacted Intus before posting this review and invited them to give their side of the story. Three weeks ago they said they’d get back to me shortly, and guess what? They didn’t. Another typical example of their poor communication and contempt for their customers.

YellAWFUL DO NOT USE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR TENANTS
I have been a tenant for almost 2 years and for the first year everything was fine. Renewed for 12 months and was not told there was a fee of £60 to pay, was also never asked for the fee. 4 months later they added the fee to my account and then proceeded to tell me I had not paid my rent. I have paid my rent and the remaining fee and they have emailed me ON THE DAY MY RENT IS DUE EVERY MONTH to tell me its not been paid in full and I ALWAYS PAY EARLY. this is awful service. I may be wrong but if my rent is due today, I can make the payment today and they should be chasing me an hour and a half into the business day. I don't know why people use this lettings agency.

Since I took up tenancy with them I have not had one positive thing to say! Rude, disorganised and dysfunctional management through and through. Last time, one of the estate agents Rebecca put my call to voicemail even though their office hours were open- little did she know that I could hear her in the background. She then preceded to hang up the phone. If you want to be treated in this way by all means go to them for a tenancy but I strongly advise against it!Incompetence, ill- compassion and rudeness should their company’s slogan! Majorly disappointed!
