Absolutely amazing management company, I dealt with Naomi, Harrison and Caitlin and all three were fantastic. I was new to renting and they set up alerts for a building i was interested in, answered all my questions and were just amazing in general. The flat was in perfect condition and when there was a small issue (not their fault) just after moving in they had it sorted asap. Thank you so much ☺️

Myself and my new Wife had the best experience with this agency. We met a wonderful woman called Sarah, we arranged a viewing, this was the best viewing we had. Sarah didn't rush us, and this allowed us time to see this as a home. Sarah was very friendly, professional, and answered any questions we had with ease. Her friendly nature allowed us to feel so relaxed. Intus Lettings this lady is an absolute credit to you. Communication from start to finish was amazing with her. When we picked up the keys to our new home we were even given a welcome box. Best agency by far. Sarah thank you very very much.

Review based on the Sheffield branch - I'm extremely pleased with how everything has gone with a new apartment let. So far I've only dealt with a single person at Intus, and the service from start to finish has been great. Thanks Dayna for being so responsive and helpful with the process. We used this agent for a managed service on our property. You can note that the first bullet point on the website under the managed service section states that - "A thorough check out process is conducted, noting meter readings" - This was not done by them when our tenant moved out and we were not informed that it hadn't been done (if we had been informed we could have done it ourselves). As the utility company had been under estimating our tenants meter readings and the correct final readings were never provided, the utility company are charging me for this huge discrepancy.
Dear Rachel, We are extremely sorry that the end of this tenancy has resulted in such a difficult situation, more so because we have enjoyed a successful working relationship with you for almost a decade. Unfortunately, due to an administration error by a staff member that is no longer employed by the company, the meter reading for the electricity at your property was not entered at the end of the tenancy, leading the service provider to provide an estimated reading. Unusually in this case, the electricity company is pursuing you (the landlord) for the unpaid bill, and not the tenant, which is not correct. We have encountered similar situations before with other tenancies, whereby we have not been physically able to access a property or meter to take an end of tenancy reading. In all of these previous cases, and as is standard practice, we have provided the energy provider with official confirmation of the tenant’s check-out date, at which point they have then pursued the tenant for that portion of the bill. The provider will then typically re-calculate the bill on a standing charge to the landlord after the check-out date, until the next tenant moves in. We are very sorry that you are having to deal with this situation, but the current issue is with the service provider, and not Intus Lettings. We are more than happy to re-send all of the relevant documents to them on your behalf and confirm that you are only liable from the date of check-out. Regards, Intus Lettings

In both cases they acted promptly, thoroughly reviewed tenants and most importantly had them furnished and let within a very short period. I would in particular recommend Katrina Scadding for her amazing service.

From start to finish of my 8 years tenancy I have had nothing but issues with this company. They expect you to drop everything so they can come inspect or send someone to do a boiler inspection with 24 hour notice! Even less sometimes. If you are unable to be available to their beck and call then they start threatening you that they will use their management key and let themselves in. They are great at ignoring any issue or problems at the property unless it suits them. I would ask anyone concidering renting a property through them to think twice about it. They don't follow legal safety rules regarding HMOs even 7 years after the local council told them they need a fire door at the entrance to an upstairs property, same goes for the locks not being upto fire regs. The list would be never ending if I were to put down all of the terrible experiences I have had with this company. I'm hoping to move shortly and I will not be sad to see the back of intus.

I own a property in Salford that Intus took over the management of in November. I had a serious problem with non-paying tenants. The Intus team of Katie, Laura and Dragos have quickly turned the problem around. The non-paying tenants have gone and new tenants have been arranged. The money owed by these tenants has been partially recovered and the balance still outstanding is well on the way to being recovered.
