Very unprofessional

We agreed to have a property viewing in Manchester today 10 Nov at 3PM. I live in Bradford and went to the property by public transport, however I got to the property earlier at 2pm then I decided to give them a call for possibility of early viewing because there is no place to wait in this cold weather and the call went to a voice mail. I left a voice message requesting what would be their answer and I requested a callback, but I never heard any response from them, not until now,not even a phone call. Nothing!I wasn't feeling well today but I still did go all the way from Bradford to the property. Now knowing that they don't even care to call me, I'm very disappointed with their service and how they treated today it's very unprofessional!!!

COMPANY LIE TO GET MONEY FROM YOU

Told the woman named Susan that I would be a student working in my holidays off uni whilst getting a mortgage. Been lead on to sign a lifetime fee of 600 pound to use there advice for the next 6 month for unlimited advice. Now being told she didn't know I was a student when I have clear evidence on my side I told her. Lawsuit imenent. This firm will lie to get money Out of you. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, GO EPSEWHERE.

Rental property- flea infestation

I would be very wary of letting these guys manage the rental of anything! Purchased a property via gascoigne and Halman, that has previously been tenanted (managed by gascoigne and halman), and it’s been a horrible experience. When we viewed the property it was filthy, so offered full asking on the agreement it be professionally cleaned. When we moved in, not only was it still dirty but we quickly discovered it had a serious flea infestation! When I flagged the flea issue to the chapel offIce they were helpful and did try to arrange pest control, but it was ineffective and 8 weeks on we still Have issues- the pest control guy thought the issue must have been untreated for many many months as the infestation was so bad! I don’t know what kind of checks they do on tenants, or how regularly they inspect their properties, but allowing a lovely new house to become absolutely infested under their management absolutely amazes me. Be very wary if you are considering them as rental agents.

Used Gascoigne Halman Lettings to manage my property - biggest mistake. Took commission every month but did nothing to earn it. Ignored my emails when I reported concerns following an inspection visit report and allowed tenant to damage property which resulted in problems trying to claim money from deposit and eventually left me considerably out of pocket. Didn't know where one set of keys were when I went to collect them! Didn't have the grace to admit their mistakes and apologize. Would certainly NOT recommend!!

Been a customer for 3 months now... Extremely disappointed.. 3 weeks since raised issue with shower, still waiting approval apparently.. tenacy not cleaned while beginning of contract, after multitude of emails back and forth, was informed that fat dripping from the extraction hood is not their problem as I have not asked for the apartment to be cleaned at the beginning of tenacy. Doors dont lock, cupboard doors dont stay shut, mould in the house near windows, when asked why a certain drawer doesn't open in the kitchen was informed that it is ornamental. I am new in the UK, hoping that this bad service is just limited to this particular agency and not the actual consumer service in general. Would have given a zero rating if it was possible.
