The worst out there

The worst out there, put us through so much drama, very stressful and mentally draining, their mortgage broker is absolutely useless, 4 months later we were declined, absolute waste of time, waste of energy, they just didn't want us to buy it for some reason, maybe because we are a different skin colour to them! Stay away from the burnley branch, good lord, how do they get away with this bs.

Bridgefords are the worst estate agents…

Bridgefords are the worst estate agents i have ever come across, i am so glad i did not decide to sell my house with them! They never answer the calls, constantly leaving voicemails, very rarely they call you back! I viewed a property with them a week or so ago & no follow up phone call the following day, I wanted to make an offer , left several voicemails & nothing! Please avoid Bridgefords at all costs. They are the worst estate agents i have ever come across. Please stay away!

But Meeah has been been really responsive to messages, willing to help, friendly without being pushy or disingenious. I feel like she genuinely wants me to find a good fit.

Valuation?? They can't be bothered!

Booked in a valuation with Bridgfords. They called the following morning at 830 which was very efficient. Was advised over the phone that this would take 30 minutes. Had a phone call from the Sale branch on the morning of the appointment. Asked if i intended to put my house up for sale, said it would be dependent on the equity we have in the house. He said the valuation would take and hour and a half and he could send a virtual valuation. It sounded like the guy couldn't be bothered at all. If this is the level of experience you get from someone that is trying to get your business, I would hate to think about the experience you would have selling through this place. Really poor service!

Have reported manager to property…

Have reported manager to property ombudsman. Bridgfords agreed a one percent sale fee to sell grandmothers property. The branch manager, Tammi Moulton, then completed the sale contract on our behalf, changing the fee to 'percentage of asking price' without consent - leading to an increase in fee by hundreds of pounds. This is, of course, unethical, illegal and we are challenging this. Add this to poor service, poor marketing of the property, and poor attitude of the staff members, in particular Tammi Moulton, and I don't think it is possible to find a worse estate agent in Staffordshire. Needless to say, I would avoid using.

Sale of flat: I put my flat up for sale with Bridgefords in Chorlton. The flat sold almost immediately. There were delays caused by the buyers solicitors, but John made it a bit easier, doing his upmost to try and move it along. Daily updates and responding to calls and emails almost immediately and letting me use the printer to print deeds and contracts . Got there in the end! I went to Bridgefords after receiving awful service from a popular competitor in Chorlton. The decision to go with Bridgefords was the best thing I did since listing my house. John and his team were excellent and went above and beyond my expectations. We purchased our first property through Bridgfords in Chorlton. The buying process ended up being quite protracted (through no fault of the agents). Through what was an incredibly difficult and stressful time, the team at Bridgfords were responsive and compassionate, going out of their way to keep us informed and to advocate on our behalf. We must give a special mention to John and Muneer, whose dedicated and empathetic approach to our sale helped us navigate the more difficult elements of our purchase, and we felt confident that our needs and best interests were always taken into consideration. Whilst we are certainly never planning on going through the moving process again any time soon, as a result of our exemplary treatment as buyers, we would not hesitate to use Bridgfords should we ever need to sell our property, and John would be the first person we would call. Just had a good long term tenant give notice which is always sad but Ash very quickly marketed the property very professionally. It went up late Wednesday afternoon, by Friday morning I had 6 viewings booked and 2 offers from people who hadn’t yet viewed it in person. By Friday afternoon the contracts were signed and deposit taken. No void, slight increase in rent and 2 happy tenants. Really good service and comms by Ash.
