Great Service I've just signed on for a rental and Bridgfords have been great to deal with, very professional, organised, and made the process very easy. Hal did a great job at the viewing and Ellie has been brilliant over email and on the phone, organising all the paperwork and communicating every step, including helping out with any questions I've had. Easy to reach, clear communication and very helpful. Edit: Upon moving out Harry Costa was a great help, pleasure working with him to organise viewings, he was very considerate and always gave plenty of notice.

Moving into my first home was a big step, especially as I was doing it for myself and my daughter, but Harry and Ash made the whole process so much easier than I ever imagined. Fraud risk

Refused to return deposit after tenancy ended, eventually complying four months later after we enacted formal action. Ignored all our calls and emails, and during the little communication I could get with them I was treated with more rudeness and dishonesty than I have ever experienced. In particular Deposits Manager Paddy and Leanne consistently treated us with the utmost contempt. Probably some sort of illegal operations behind the scenes. Avoid!

I recently moved into Brigford property and I can't express how grateful I am for the fantastic support from Lucy and Murray. From the moment I began the application process, they were incredibly helpful and attentive to my needs. Lucy guided me through all the paperwork with clarity and patience, ensuring I understood everything. On move-in day, Murray went above and beyond to assist me, he helped with any questions I had and made sure everything was in order. What can I say about Bridgfords in Bamber Bridge, what an absolutely fabulous team of professionals to deal with especially Jane Catterall! This amazing lady has gone above and beyond for us firstly regarding the sale of my mum's house after she passed away, and now ourselves. Without Jane with her knowledge and wealth of experience our house move would have collapsed, she did everything in her power to get the job done, she went above and beyond, and is also a very understanding and caring individual remaining professional throughout. I cant say enough about how good Jade was throughout our entire house purchase. We initially did not plan to go with a mortgage broker, but we are incredibly glad we did. From being on the front lines of our bidding war to staying up until 2am to resubmit a mortgage application for the 5th time while she was on holiday! She was unreal from start to finish. I had been trying to find a property to rent since last year and found one with Bridgfords last November it was our dream home and perfect went to view a lovely guy called Jamie Tilston showed us around and we fell in love Jamie made us feel so welcome and went through everything perfectly but unfortunately after wanting to put a bid in the owner decided to sell we were back to square one I searched around for months until I got a call from Bridgfords saying the house is back on the market this was in beginning of March this year and Jamie and trudy thought of me and rang me straight away and asked was I still interested the house was meant for us and we said yes Jamie went through everything from start to finish and handed our keys over and can’t thank him enough and the team and Bridgfords hats off to Jamie also trudie who have been there from the start fantastic customer service and I wish Jamie a happy and bright future all the best and once again thank you so much

I have used Bridgfords Chorlton Lettings for many years as a landlord. They have recently handled a new tenancy agreement for me (Feb 2024). All my dealings with Jamie Tilston and Trudie Boateng were first class. Both are very professional and their communications with me were excellent. Some things never change - still shoddy

Some things never change. We bought our house through Bridgfords 5 years ago- not a good experience. They don’t answer the phone or answer emails. Today, as we’ve decided to sell the house, I thought to myself "maybe they’ve changed." I’ve called them 4 X, each time being redirected to an answering machine.I’ve emailed them and no reply. A continuation of a shoddy service continues. The 2 other estate agents I’ve contacted have replied more or less straight away and visits have been arranged. I honestly don’t know how Bridgfords survives in the current economic climate.

2 month+ deposit return delay

I rented a property managed by Bridgfords and moved out two months ago. I still have not received my deposit back. Since moving out, I have called and emailed the branch multiple times to follow up. My calls have been hung up on, and my emails have gone unanswered. For an agency that expects tenants to meet strict deadlines and requirements throughout the tenancy, this level of service at the end of the process has been disappointing. I would think carefully before renting through Bridgfords based on this experience.

From the initial phone call where she asked more in-depth questions than any other agent I'd also booked, to the professionalism and preparation on the valuation to the follow up email which had so much time and effort put into it with local conparibles and a clear outline of a sales strategy for my property. I've recently secured a flat to rent through Bridgfords, Chorlton. I knew it was a busy time in the year to be looking in MCR's crowded housing market, but I definitely underestimated how hard it would be to find somewhere on a short-term basis. I have just moved into a house in the Chrolton area with 2 housemates using Bridgfords. The service we received was attentive, friendly and readily available from the very start of the process. During the initial viewing, Ellie was very helpful in showing me round the house, clearly very organised and professional. Our offer was accepted and despite some issues from the separate referencing agency they used regarding communication, we were able secure the house and move in. During this process, Trudie proved to be an excellent asset to us regarding the referencing process, tenancy agreement and moving in, we cannot recommend her enough! Overall, comparing my experience with Bridgfords, Ellie and Trudie with other estate agents in the area, I would direct anyone who is looking in the Chorlton area for a property to their office.

1 Star is too many stars in my opinion...

I approached Bridgfords and Michael Poole last year to see about selling my late fathers Bungalow. I found their sales tactics to be a bit off, immediately trying to upsell me services I personally felt had no value, insisting it would make every difference. I begged to differ and having a bad gut feeling about them and a positive experience with Michael Poole I chose Michael Poole instead. Then came the phone calls trying to get me to switch and saying they would do a better job. After the second phone call I made it clear I was definitely not going to change my mind and asked them to remove my number from their records and not call me again. I received several other phone calls 2 or 3 weeks apart from each other and after repeatedly asking them to not call me again, the final call I received I told them (not very nicely) that if they contacted me one more time I would report them to the police for harassment as I had made it clear on several occasions I didn't want them to contact me.
