Andrew, Georgie, Sue and Rachel were magnificent during our purchase of our new home. Having travelled 250 miles to view our chosen property, the viewing was unrushed and we felt no pressure to do anything, the property was exactly as described and it was perfect for our needs,. We made an offer and it was accepted within 2 hours and we returned home the same day, very excited that the deal was done. Nothing was too much trouble including receiving reply’s to emails at 9pm in the evening

Estate agents don’t always have the best reputation and let’s be honest, sometimes it’s deserved. But having dealt with them twice over the past few years for two separate properties, I can genuinely say that Cundalls are in a league of their own. Their lettings manager, Vicki, is refreshingly honest, wonderfully straightforward, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. From start to finish, it’s felt like working with real people the kind who value integrity and relationships over ticking boxes and hiding behind systems. As both tenant and landlord, you’re treated like a human being, not just another reference number on a spreadsheet (imagine that!). You don’t exactly get to choose your estate agent as a buyer or renter you’re a bit at their mercy but if you’re a seller or landlord, you absolutely can, and you really should consider Cundalls. They do it the way it ought to be done properly, personally, and without the usual estate-agent theatrics.

We would definitely use Andrew and Cundalls again if we were to sell another house, they have been fantastic throughout and extremely helpful in navigating the full sale of our property, Andrew spoke to us weekly to update us on the sale process, no request was to big or to small for him, we managed to find the right buyer for the house in a tough market, he was always just a phone-call or text away, with it being our first sale we knew very little about the sale process, Andrew helped us then with getting the right paperwork and property checks to make the sale go through as seamlessly as possible. We have bought one property and sold two properties through Cundalls now and have received excellent advice, updates and service from Andrew Wood. Their photographer did an excellent job and the brochure produced attracted an almost overwhelming response from potential purchasers. Cundalls understood the broad range of purchasers our property might appeal to and throughout the process Andrew kept us updated regularly and when issues arose they were dealt with speedily and overcome with a very practical approach. I would have no hesitation recommending Cundalls Estate Agents.

We purchased our property from Cundalls in Malton and from our first phone call to completion we were very happy with the service. In particular we appreciated the help and support of Andrew Wood throughout our purchase process. He was professional, courteous and helpful in a way that reduced the stress of our house move. Our move was from another part of the UK with a different legal system so the English conveyancing process was a new process for us. Andrew kept us fully informed throughout, reassured us when there were delays and diplomatically helped move along any slower parts of the conveyancing process as needed. His excellent communication skills and kind, thoughtful manner were very much appreciated. While viewing properties across the UK over some months, we had some less than favourable experiences with other agents so we were pleased to have purchased our property from an Estate agent who demonstrated that they did ‘Provide a service to both buyers and sellers consistent with fairness, integrity and best practice’ . We would thoroughly recommend Andrew at the Malton office.
