My dream of purchasing a house in Ireland so that I could retire home from the US finally happened last year. Throughout the process, my husband and I had the pleasure of working with Jayne from Sherry Fitzgerald in Mallow. We greatly appreciated Jayne’s professionalism and support throughout the process. There was a lot of back and forth with the seller and Jayne was so accommodating of the 5-hour time difference. We never waited long for responses and didn’t have to guess at what was happening. Jayne kept us informed every step of the way. We cannot recommend her highly enough for anyone looking to purchase a house in Ireland.

We had the pleasure of dealing with Jayne, Michael and Joan over the course of a few months both with purchasing a property and selling our own property at the same time. What could have been a very stressful time was made so much easier with the help of the team at Sherry Fitzgerald O Donovan Mallow. The communication from Jayne and Michael was fantastic and were always a phonecall away if we had any questions throughout the experience. Joan in the office was the loveliest woman and always a pleasure to speak with. Whenever we had viewings they would update us immediately with feedback and we were constantly being kept in the loop with updates on the purchase of the new property. We had dealt with other auctioneers in the past buying our first house and what sets them apart is that they are top of their game with their jobs and also add another level with their warm and friendly demeanor. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to sell your property, you can be sure they will do the job and more!

I had an excellent experience in selling my property with Sherry Fitzgerald O 'Donovan and I highly recommend them. Michael and Jayne were extremely professional and made sure my property was presented to the highest standard for sale. I was kept up to date on all viewings and offers on my property. They negotiated a fair value price for my property and were so patient in giving me time to reflect on accepting offers. They were also a great support to potential buyers, allowing them to review the property on numerous occasions, when deciding if they would make an offer. They worked very well with my solicitor, providing any information that was needed to ensure that the contracts were drawn up efficiently, which really helped speed up the closing stages of the sale. Joan, who works in the office was a great support in keeping the communication lines open and provided constant support to me, any request I had, was never a problem to her. I would like to thank Michael, Jayne and Joan for completing the sale seamlessly. I received a personal and professional service from them all. I rented a house with my ex girlfriend, unfortunately we broke up. She contacted the real estate because I was leaving the house to include another person in the contract, they made an agreement with my ex to pay only her part because they will sell the house in 2 months. After this they decided to try to find some excuse for don't pay back complaining about the mattresses, luckily we had pictures to prove was so bad. Later on was excuses about don't have acess to his father account because he passed way. An huge company should not support this kind of things.

We recently purchased our first house in Ireland with Sherry Fitzgerald O’Donovan in Mallow. Because we were moving from mainland Europe, we needed to be assured that the purchase would go through before the contractual lease on our property abroad came to an end. We were anxious because we are not used to the Irish house-buying system, specifically that the completion date in the contract may not end up being the actual completion date. However Michael made sure that the vendors completely understood our situation and gave us regular updates about their position to help allay our concerns. In the end our purchase was completed on time in 12 weeks, on the day that Michael set right at the start. Jayne and Joan in the office have also been fantastic in helping us on completion day and beyond eg. with letting in a mattresses delivery before we formally got the keys on completion day, and recommending a plumber because immediately on moving in we found a major blockage in the kitchen. Thanks very much to the team for all their help throughout the process and I look forward to seeing you all around Mallow!

OH, my God! they are careless and 100% unprofessional. We traveled to Ireland to see their propriety. The call center girl was dry manners like she was doing a huge favor to call you and let you visit the room. The man to show the house came late, forgot the keys, and didn't have a clue about the house. The property was dirty, smelling, and damaged. The next day when we asked questions about the house's functioning they got angry and someone informed us that the house had been rented. I wonder if there is a worse service than that. My experience was below the expectations. I hope that the Irish real state market can not be based on that, no respect to the prospect.

I went on Sherry Fitzgerald website sat 15June24. I was looking at specific property and an offer to chat popped up "what do you want to know about this property" I replied is this still on the market and if so what is the current highest offer. Chat replied "great question who am I talking to" I gave my name. Then chat asked for my phone number then my email. I asked again if the property was still on the market. Chat asked me if I was also selling. I said no. Chat then told me they were at home,had no access to information and someone would contact me Monday. I was duped into giving my info under the belief that the person chatting could answer basic questions. I went on the website again and got another offer to chat. I was curious so I started to chat again. Again they asked for my name. I replied that before I gave them my personal info could they tell me some basic info. The person chatting said they could see I had been talking to a colleague. I asked what the point of all this was as they could not answer basic questions. The person chatting then wrote " I think we've lost the connection are you still there" I answered yes I'm still here. But I got a message saying connection lost. The whole thing seems like a scam to get personal info. Is this chat run by Sherry Fitzgerald and do they take responsibility for keeping it secure. All they needed to have is a recorded message that the office is closed contact them Monday.

Never again would I deal with sherry…

Never again would I deal with sherry Fitzgerald Farrell after my experience with Justin. He was the most unprofessional person iv ever come across and shafted me over a house I was the highest bidder on for weeks. It’s so obvious he sold it to a friend or someone he knows. I’m absolutely disgusted and angry and upset at the way he’s treated us .the online bidding platform magically kicked me off the bidding and I contacted Justin to tell him and he hung up on me and wouldn’t return my calls or texts. And boom house sold to someone else in minutes after I being the highest bidder for weeks.
