Google40 years ago we bought our house with the help of Mr Philip Church, and now even with current restrictions we managed to complete the sale of our house, finally handing over the keys with his son Glenn Church. The whole experience has been made easier with excellent work of the very friendly but professional staff, Andy, Daniel but particularly Neil who has helped and advised us from the beginning of this long journey, always calm and pleasant, honest and reliable. Excellent service all round. Would thoroughly recommend them to anybody buying or selling their house.

GoogleChurch & Hawes were excellent in supporting in both the purchase of my first house, and its sale two years later. Purchase: Lucy and Andrew helped to find a variety of houses within our price range. Lucy gave us a tour of two different properties, referred us to a third and assisted with putting in an offer. Throughout the deposit, exchange, and completion process, everyone was more than happy to look into any concerns I had, and to answer any questions (first time buyer). Sale: Daniel helped to advise on a sale price for our property, as well as taking a variety of photos and writing a detailed enough description for the advert. The Maldon team were also quick to advertise the property; we had viewings within three days of putting our house on the market. Daniel was excellent in liaising with our buyers, and offering advice and support in dealing with solicitors, including with our purchase onward. Considering the low cost and high quality service I received from the Maldon branch of Church & Hawes, I would opt to use them again.

GoogleChurch & Hawes have been amazing during our house sale. Incredibly supportive and professional at all times. Daniel and Jacob in particular were always on hand to take my calls and find out information for me. Our chain (5 properties) was not that straight forward and we had a few wobbly moments however, Daniel was always on top of matters and took it upon himself to speak to all in the chain in order to keep the sale moving. The whole team there were professional from start to finish. I am not convinced the chain would have completed in the end if Daniel hadn't pushed as hard as he did for us, going over and above the requirements of his job. I really can't fault them at all. Thank you Church & Hawes.

GoogleIt has been a smooth process buying our first house due to Mr. Weller Great estate agents that are with you all steps of the way and making sure that you are looked after the whole time, even over Xmas. Nothing was too much of an ask! Would certainly use Church and Hawes again without a shadow of a doubt!

GoogleWe had a great experience using Church and Hawes Maldon, our agent (Dan Brown) was by far the most knowledgeable and realistic about the local market from all the agents we had to value. Having kept our eye on the local market for over a year we had a clear idea on pricing and what to expect for our sale which aligned completely with what we were then told by C&H. Some other agents I felt either had less knowledge or were looking out for thier own interests too much by undervaluing for a quick sale. The price was valued spot on and sold within 48 hours of hitting RightMove. In the weeks following our sale, identical properties went up for sale with different agents for the same asking price shortly after ours and they have failed to sell at the same price, with one has been reduced £15k and still not sold several months on! The photos were by far superior to the other agents and the pack that shows the pictures and description was of higher quality. This made us go with Dan at C&H and this was the right choice as when the inevitable problems arose (as a result of others further down the chain) Dan held it together, did us some massive favours and handled our very difficult buyer admirably, as well as ensuring smooth running further up the chain. We felt looked after and in the loop at all times. I would highly recommend C&H Maldon if you are selling your house.
