GoogleIt was my first time selling a house, and from start to finish Olivia and Nic were helpful and communicative. We had five estate agents value the house and Beresford were competitive with their fees. Some estate agents undervalued the house, while another was way over the top, but Beresford were reasonable, realistic, and also reassuring. We had the photos done by Mode which looked great for the listing, and they also adjusted the description per my updates. It took just less than one week from our house being listed to an offer being made and accepted.
There was an issue further along in the chain, that even the seller of the house we are buying wasn't aware of, but Olivia got on top of it to make sure all parties knew the situation. We had always intended to break the chain to avoid any delays with our sale, but it was good to see them being proactive.
We appreciate their hard work and help, and we got to understand how valuable they are in communicating between the parties and the solicitors/conveyancers. Definitely recommend and thank you again Olivia, Nic, and Nicky!

Despite a tough market and some setbacks, the team exceeded expectations at every stage. When our first buyer pulled out, they re-listed the property the same day, arranged a viewing the next morning, and by that afternoon had secured us a new buyer at the same price. That kind of speed and dedication really sets them apart, not to mention their communication throughout was fantastic.

GoogleWhere do I start when I talk about Beresfords at Maldon !!??
More to the point where do I start with the sheer brilliance and tenacity of Nick Lindsell !
Upon our very first meeting I was instantly drawn to Nick. He not only marketed my property expertly, but was always a joy to speak to.
He really did have my best interest in mind, thoroughly explained how the process would work, and timely had my property on the market within a few days of instruction.
Nick ALWAYS kept me updated from my initial viewing to exchange.
This probably wasn't the easiest of sales, due to the tortoise like pace of the bottom of the chain! So slow that it almost put us all in therapy!
This wasn't going to deter Nick neither Neil and a terrific man called Sam (I say terrific because he had to answer the phone to me all the time......poor man)
These guys were like a dog with a bone and never failed to keep me upto date with the progress.
If you want to sell your house with a determined committed team, and one that is intouch with the current market and the huge uncertainty that bestows many of us at the moment, then look no further!! Seriously.....stop......don't look any further!!!
Beresfords are a family company, with family values......this is something that can be missed (with some companies) to the detriment of us the seller, but not with Beresfords iand this great team in Maldon.
EMPHASIS on the word TEAM......I know the old cliché of 'Teamwork makes the dream work' , but it really does, and ALL singing from the same song sheet !

GoogleOur experience of Beresfords was buying a property that they had listed.
Neil and Lauren were great in the offer stage, going back and forth with the vendor whose attitude pretty frustrating.
During the buying period, the vendor was particularly unhelpful but Neil, Nick and Rebecca were great in giving him a direct nudge when needed. After finding some storm damage just before we exchanged, Nick immediately let the vendor know so it could be sorted before we exhanged contracts.
Although our experience of the vendor was pretty exasperating, we felt that the team at Beresfords were both responsive and supportive.
Our overall experience was positive and would definitely recommend them as an intelligent and experienced agency.
