Worst viewing request experience

Request for viewing from a few agents, Wards is the last to reply. The lady seems very difficult to work with. I Specifically requested to leave email or sms as I cannot take call during the day. Nope after one unanswered call the next day my viewings are “not-confirmed”. I have explained I am travel from 50km away and tickets are pre-booked. but anyway have last minute effort to call again the morning I hop on the train.Spoke to Sophie she is much better which changed my bad experience. Unfortunately, the original lady “with character” pick up the phone again and make everything very difficult. I gave up as I can foresee difficulty for the transactions. There are plenty of other properties I don’t need to be played around. If it looks like bad news then chances are, it might be even worst down the road for the process.i have 2 stars instead of 1 because of Sophie. I hope the properties I am interested in will be wise to change agent so that I can finally view them. I am not sure where the 91% good review from but maybe it’s with Sophie I think I am just unlucky.

When we put our property on the market, we couldn't decide between Wards and another agent.. I am very glad we chose Wards! Candice was so helpful throughout, always called/emailed me back when she said she would, often stayed late to help us out and was just genuinely really nice. When we started to have a few problems nearing exchange, Candice helped us out straight away. We've moved out of her area sadly, however when we come to sell we will definitely be asking if she can sell ours as a one off as she is amazing and a definite credit to wards :)

I cannot speak highly enough about the team at Wards of Loose. Candice was so personable and honest at the appraisal, I didn’t even get other agents in! I had viewers in the next couple of days and Candice, Darren and Vicky all conducted them professionally and in a timely manner. The speed of the feedback was outstanding and I never had to chase. Unfortunately things didn’t work out for me this time, even though they got my house sold above the asking price. I will look at selling in the new year and will definitely use this office again. They were so professional and friendly and Darren went the extra mile for me when things started to go wrong with my purchase. Exceeding Expectations

I had originally bought my house through Wards so when it came time for me to move they were an obvious choice to talk with about selling. I was immediately impressed by their knowledge of the local market and attention to detail and at no point did I regret my decision to commission them. They are an impressive team led by Danny with the delightfully enthusiastic James always onhand to show potential buyers the property and especially Dani Scorer acting as a beacon of calm during what became, if not fraught, then certainly challenging at times, final negotiations with the chain in which we found ourselves. Even during an especially hectic period, post lockdown, she always kept us informed throughout the process and I felt she instinctively understood exactly what we were trying to achieve. Even when she would call with perhaps less than joyous news, it was always a pleasure to hear from her. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wards.

Dubious, untrustworthy and zero integrity. Please avoid!

Avoid this dubious, untrustworthy and awful company at all costs. Wards took an alternative offer to a seller after I had instructed solicitors following acceptance of my offer. I should have known they use dubious tactics after I offered the full guide price and Wards quickly suggested the seller needed more money, despite the fact we were the only offer being considered. Following acceptance of the offer, I was asked by Wards to instruct the solicitors they recommended (they receive a referral fee) at the earliest opportunity. Two days later, Wards called and informed me they had taken another offer to the seller, bypassing our sale agreement and demonstrating a complete lack of integrity. The alternative offer was accepted, the sale fell through and I am currently out of pocket as a result of a desperate clamber to boost a senior managers commission. If you want to sell your home, please use an alternative firm to ensure that your home is being sold by people with a moral compass. If you want to buy a home, please avoid going through Wards, as they simply can’t be trusted.

We highly recommend Jade and her team. Not having moved house for 23 years we were a bit rusty on how the whole things works in the internet age! It was a couple of years ago I decided to purchase a property in canterbury kent where I lived and studied for many years and have so many memories. however, since I am living overseas, I was very much concerned about how to find a good state agent to help me with both buying and letting the property. The experience have been a very good one from start to finish; Although, the process wasn't easy, but the staffs involved with our mortgage were excellent. The support given to us was unbelievable and this aid to the successful sales of our property. Georgina Gray and her team, whom is our mortgage broker was very good and highly experience. She worked tiredly to secure our mortgage. She was great throughout the process of our application and simple the best.
