Exemplary Customer Service!

I predominantly dealt with Morgan at Mann estate agents whilst searching for a property. I cannot praise her highly enough. Out of all the estate agents I have dealt with over the years (there have been many) she is by far and away one of the most thoughtful and thorough. She went over and above to find properties that suited our needs or that could be turned into what we required. Although we didnt buy a house through Mann Countrywide, Morgan has been on hand to support us through buying a house via modern auction and to act as a sounding board for an impartial opinion on the process.

Mann went above and beyond to both sell our house and get us the house we had our hearts set on. Morgan was our first point of contact and she was lovely and was brilliant at communicating and keeping us updated. Riley and Mark were also excellent and always very helpful. We recently purchased our first home through Mann Estate Agent Grove Green. As I'm sure everyone can imagine when buying a property, we had some pitfalls along the way (none related to Mann at all I should add, and Mann being our saviour in my case). Martin was always happy to help and went the extra mile during our purchase and tapped into his vast knowledge of the surrounding area, even to the point of knowing the house builders for houses built over 30 years ago. I truly believe had it not been for Martin's efforts during my transaction it would have fallen through (again, no fault of Mann's) and I would have been back to square one. Charged me a fully managed Service but…

Charged me a fully managed Service but couldnt fulfill the service as had no keys to my property, charged my 10% when it should have been 7%...refunded me after complaint, never visited my property, visited after complaint but never recieved a report. Left them after 1 year had to pay another year upfront as you need to stay with them for 24 months minimum. So ultimately, i paid double for a Tenant find service. Live and learn!

Absolutely unacceptable, my poor mother travelled all the way in an uber with a broken foot, to get a call last minute saying oh sorry I was unaware I had a viewing I’ll be there in 10 mins, my mum stood outside the property to get a call later saying they can’t make it so she was waiting outside with a broken foot and wasted her money on Ubers there and back. Rubbish estate agency.. the cheek to make excuses saying they are very busy, we are all busy! It’s your job!

Honestly I don´t know where to start

Honestly I don´t know where to start. But after speaking to their Regional manager it all makes sense. First thing they wanted was to get us to speak to their specialist panel of mortgage brokes that can get more deals etc. In contrast to the last estate agents we bought from they wanted a fee up front etc. They were also keen to market our house for us and I asked multiple times to send me a some information oin their fees etc which was avoided 3 or 4 times. We have seen house that has been on the market for overa year, I spoke to the vendors son while at the viewing and he explained they weren´t in a rush and wouldnt need us to have a an offer on our house to accept an offer. I asked him and he said no he was happy because they arent in a rush. We were loking to put anb offer in when a reginal manager i have never spoken to calls up again trying to market our house, I told him I didnt get a good feeling from them and chose another estate agent we had a better experience withg and he went on to bash them for not being able to get photos for 2 weeks. I said the marketing on the other company and the treatment is much better and I was going to use them anyway and he proceeded to send a whstsap message. I get my name is difficult but I am dyslexic and a sales person and I make sure I spell people name correnctly so I mentioned like I said before about trust and I will post the transcript below of teh cinversation.. You make up your minds if you would trust this person running a bussiness.

My family had rented a house with Mann agency Gravesend for which paid all the fee in advance including rent and deposit. When it comes to day of moving 14th December 2024, we received a call from jay squire (manager) that we can't take the keys since gas certificate is not in place and there might be gas leaking. He was not even sorry while speaking to us. Since we had paid until 14th December to our current landlord who had already rented the room to someone else who was also coming on same day evening 5pm . Even that person came as well. We were panic because we had no place to go. Our moving van were also rented and ready. My sister who was also moving with us she is heavily pregnant and I already have a 4 year old kid. Due to which we all were panic . We visited the office mann properties, what the staff treated and spoke to us very rudely especially Katie Garrett except sales manager( I am not sure if think his name is Rob ) and one more member of staff i think Dan they were the only one who talked to us nicely. Otherwise Katie totally refused to help us and said she can't manage anyone and left us almost homeless. She even said we should go to council to get a house , do you really think they will give us a house in few hours instead of helping those people who are already in queue since years. Renting manager was also not helpful at all. Eventually Katie told us to go out from the office and told us she will call police which was obviously not a solution for atleast us. They closed the office earlier and locked it inside so we had to sit outside in cold with our kid just in hope that they will do something. But no it was just the worst day of life. Then on Monday 16th December when I visited to the office to take the money back jay told he will not give us our full money back even we were not faulty we were ready to move but they were the one who breached the contract . Even I reviewed on Google for it they deleted it as well which was even not including a single word like violence or abusive or something like that. Which is totally against the uk law as well. Kindly choose the good company if you are really looking for a peaceful experience never go to them

We were relocating from Windsor to Maidstone to be closer to family. From our first meeting with Sam, we were impressed. She is knowledgeable about the area, passionate about the houses she sells and most importantly, keen to sell us the right property. Sam bent over backwards for us, squeezing in appointments wherever she could; she knew we had limited availability because of our location in Windsor. Throughout the process (which involved us selling our house in Windsor 3 times!), Sam was patient, communicative, helpful and even gave us advice on progressing our sale, as well as the purchase. She was actively involved in chasing solicitors at both ends to ensure that the chain kept moving and didn't collapse. Despite some challenges along the way, Sam remained friendly, positive and always kept her sense of humour!
