We recently viewed a property with Bonnie from Mann and I just wanted to share how impressed we were with her. From the very beginning, Bonnie came across as professional, approachable, and genuinely lovely. She created such a positive atmosphere throughout the viewing and made us all feel very comfortable, especially my young son, who even commented afterwards on how much he liked her. She answered all of our questions clearly and thoughtfully, gave helpful advice, and never made us feel rushed at any point. You could really tell she cared about providing a great experience. Absolutely unacceptable, my poor mother travelled all the way in an uber with a broken foot, to get a call last minute saying oh sorry I was unaware I had a viewing I’ll be there in 10 mins, my mum stood outside the property to get a call later saying they can’t make it so she was waiting outside with a broken foot and wasted her money on Ubers there and back. Rubbish estate agency.. the cheek to make excuses saying they are very busy, we are all busy! It’s your job!

My family had rented a house with Mann agency Gravesend for which paid all the fee in advance including rent and deposit. When it comes to day of moving 14th December 2024, we received a call from jay squire (manager) that we can't take the keys since gas certificate is not in place and there might be gas leaking. He was not even sorry while speaking to us. Since we had paid until 14th December to our current landlord who had already rented the room to someone else who was also coming on same day evening 5pm . Even that person came as well. We were panic because we had no place to go. Our moving van were also rented and ready. My sister who was also moving with us she is heavily pregnant and I already have a 4 year old kid. Due to which we all were panic . We visited the office mann properties, what the staff treated and spoke to us very rudely especially Katie Garrett except sales manager( I am not sure if think his name is Rob ) and one more member of staff i think Dan they were the only one who talked to us nicely. Otherwise Katie totally refused to help us and said she can't manage anyone and left us almost homeless. She even said we should go to council to get a house , do you really think they will give us a house in few hours instead of helping those people who are already in queue since years. Renting manager was also not helpful at all. Eventually Katie told us to go out from the office and told us she will call police which was obviously not a solution for atleast us. They closed the office earlier and locked it inside so we had to sit outside in cold with our kid just in hope that they will do something. But no it was just the worst day of life. Then on Monday 16th December when I visited to the office to take the money back jay told he will not give us our full money back even we were not faulty we were ready to move but they were the one who breached the contract . Even I reviewed on Google for it they deleted it as well which was even not including a single word like violence or abusive or something like that. Which is totally against the uk law as well. Kindly choose the good company if you are really looking for a peaceful experience never go to them

An absolutely dreadful service led by incompetent manager(s) who I felt had zero regard for either the sale or the safe keeping of my property. I was very saddened and disappointed by their poor ethics and do not regard them as honest or trustworthy. Senior managers are ill informed, indifferent and condescending. I would never recommend them under any circumstances.

We were relocating from Windsor to Maidstone to be closer to family. From our first meeting with Sam, we were impressed. She is knowledgeable about the area, passionate about the houses she sells and most importantly, keen to sell us the right property. Sam bent over backwards for us, squeezing in appointments wherever she could; she knew we had limited availability because of our location in Windsor. Throughout the process (which involved us selling our house in Windsor 3 times!), Sam was patient, communicative, helpful and even gave us advice on progressing our sale, as well as the purchase. She was actively involved in chasing solicitors at both ends to ensure that the chain kept moving and didn't collapse. Despite some challenges along the way, Sam remained friendly, positive and always kept her sense of humour! Our house move wasn't a simple one. It took over a year to finally move house and the team at Grove Green stuck with us through it all, without any drop in customer service or attention. By the end I was heavily pregnant, in & out of hospital, and desperate to move before the birth. The Grove Green team worked do hard to ensure we could move before we had him - one week before in fact. Unfortunately on the day of the move, it all stopped and the move nearly fell through (no fault of the Grove Green team!), we were homeless and having to put our furniture into a garage until we knew what was happening. I can safely say it was one of the worst times of our life BUT in that time the team at Mann really went above and beyond to help us. All of them helped but Abbie was simply amazing - she didn't rest until we walked into our house, and for that we are eternally grateful. Our little boy arrived 5 days later. If you want an estate agent who will be on your side, choose Mann Grove Green

Deeply Disappointing Experience, Strood Mann Sales and Letting Agents

Our experience with Mann Sales and Letting Agents Strood has been deeply disappointing. As someone with experience in leadership, I can confidently say that the issues my family faced clearly stem from leadership, as the agency has failed to take accountability for their poor service. The signs were there from the very first calls and continued all the way through. Appointment punctuality and coordination were major issues from the beginning. Scheduled viewings were consistently delayed, leaving us in uncomfortable situations and forcing us to personally show prospective buyers around our property. This lack of punctuality and disregard for our concerns was unacceptable. This not only inconvenienced us but also left us feeling uncomfortable and vulnerable. Moreover, prospective buyers also expressed dissatisfaction with their poor experience e.g left waiting outside properties, unclear instructions and poor communication.Transparency regarding the terms of the sole agency contract was also lacking. Critical details, such as the length of the agreement, were not adequately discussed, leaving us feeling misled and questioning the integrity of the process.Furthermore, the advertising of our property on Rightmove and other platforms was subpar. We were left to request enhancements and updates, reflecting poorly on the agency's commitment to effective marketing.Despite our attempts to address these issues, the agency has refused to take responsibility and has closed ranks. Even after following the 'official' complaints process, they have refused to allow us to alter the length of the contract or even to move to a multi-agency agreement, which is a basic and straightforward solution that can easily be done and has been advised by other professionals in the industry.I strongly caution against entrusting your property sale to Mann Sales and Letting Agents Strood. Should you decide to proceed with them, heed this advice: never concede to a sole agency contract, demand meticulous attention to the advertising of your property, and scrutinise every detail of the contract, particularly its duration. I firmly advocate for a contract length of no more than 4 weeks or 28 days. Furthermore, be resolute in avoiding coercion into utilising their in-house financial services. Despite our repeated insistence on retaining our trusted brokers, Mann Co persistently pressured us until we were compelled to inquire whether our decision to use our own brokers would pose a problem, emphasising the importance of asserting your preferences firmly.Overall, our experience has been disappointing, and we hope our feedback prompts Mann Sales and Letting Agents to reassess their practices, processes, and procedures and strive for improvement in the future. Now, we find ourselves left to wait out the length of the contract as they refuse to alter it. As a family with two young children, aged 2 and 4, it's evident that our needs have been consistently overlooked and disregarded throughout this entire ordeal.

Worst estate agent (£1200 not refunded)

Worst estate agent, whole company is full of scam (its mortgage advice, solicitor panel). They have taken advance payment of £399 for solicitor search and £798 for mortgage for my potential buy. Later the seller pulled from process and I have asked for refund, but they are not refunding my money. This is worst company in the UK to deal with property, mortgage, solicitor panel.
