I honestly cannot praise Emily Fuller and Lyndsey Lowe enough. They have been absolutely amazing estate agents from the very first viewing all the way through to completion and even with aftercare afterwards. Their knowledge of the property was outstanding, they knew key details at every stage and were always on top of what was happening. There were points in the process where I genuinely don’t think I would have been able to cross the line without them. They consistently went above and beyond, keeping everything moving when it felt like things could stall. Emily and Lyndsey were always up to date, regularly giving feedback, chasing solicitors, and communicating clearly so I never felt left in the dark. Their dedication, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile made what can be a very stressful process feel manageable and supported. I couldn’t recommend them enough, truly exceptional service from start to finish.

Staff are knowledgeable on the sales market in general. Lyndsey, Branch Manager, is personable; we felt listened to when she came to value the property and knew how important good communication during the selling process is to to us. Abhay in Sales is also personable as are all the staff when we popped in to the office. Good experience through a process that can be stressful.

We recently sold our property with Gearing and Colyer. Shanna and Jayne did a tremendous job at corresponding with us, and keeping us in the loop with what to expect along the way. Emily was really nice and very patient with the viewing. Due to roadworks and other traffic issues we arrived at least 15 mins late but Emily didn't rush us or make it obvious that she has another appointment to go to or that she was running late. Really appreciated that as viewing properties can be time consuming.

Our property was with G&C for 17 months in total and sold at the third attempt. Online marketing of the property was excellent, although the initial valuation was over priced and set unrealistic expectations. Hollie, Kirstie & Lyndsey went above and beyond to get the sale, accomodating buyer requests for multiple visits etc. However, I think high staff turnover did not help the sale and at times we would have benefitted from a dedicated Expediter in branch.

Highly recommend Geering & Colyer. Thomas worked incredibly hard to find our buyer and then secure our sale. He was always professional, answered my emails straight away and conducted all our viewings in a professional manner. Once our buyer was found he assisted all the way to the goal. There were difficulties with our buyers solicitors communication (or lack of it) and Thomas was invaluable in liaising between our buyer and his solicitor to finally get us over the line. We went on the market with Geering and Colyer, in 12 weeks we only had 4 viewings with no constructive feedback. When we were sent the photos we did say we wasn’t happy with them as they made the house look smaller than it was, however was told they were fine and didn’t want to delay getting on the market. We were promised weekly phone calls with what G&C were doing to try and sell our home, we didn’t get any. When we decided to come off of the market we spoke with Lyndsey the agents manager who agreed the photos were not up to a good standard and offered new photos and a 3D tour. This was too little too late. The staff were polite whenever we spoke to them however does feel like if Rightmove does not sell your house then they won’t be able too.
