We recently purchased a property through Braxton and it was a seamless experience. Ben Fraser showed us the property when we had started viewing and he was patient with all our questions and the time we we took to cone yo a decision. The mortgage advisor, home purchaser survey and the Solicitor recommendations given by Ben were great. He was in constant communication with us the whole time and followed up on all activities. Ben and his colleagues at Braxton also ensured property access when we needed to have contractors around for quotes and when we wanted to get some measurements. We highly recommend Braxton for all property needs. We are very happy with their service.

My wife and I had the pleasure of engaging Sam Tomlinson as our selling agent for our property in Maidenhead, Berkshire, United Kingdom. Before we engaged Sam, we had sought out many other realtors in the area - even some of the big national brands. Unfortunately, the majority of them were unprofessional & tardy and there were some even to point of non responsiveness and or over commitments that simply were not attainable. From the time we first engaged Sam right until to the point when we closed the sale of the house, Sam exemplified expertise and professionalism to the core. The entire selling process went so smoothly despite Sam being in Maidenhead in the UK, and my wife and I were between California and Dubai. All our meetings were professional and highly productive albeit they being virtual. Sam was extremely courteous, highly responsive and very knowledgeable and advised us every step of the way. Despite Sam having to be away for a week, all matters pertaining to the sale was handled by another colleague without any disruption to the selling process. Sam’s professional advise on the indicative selling price, to his recommendations for re painting our house to fixing the electrical fixtures all led to a quick sale of our property at our expected selling price. We sold the house within less than a month of open viewings and closed the transaction within 2 months. The amazing this was this was all accomplished in an era where house prices were dropping and interest rates skyrocketing. Therefore it gives me great pleasure in recommending Sam Tomlinson and the good folks at Braxton for any real estate services in Maidenhead. Braxtons and Sam has my utmost confidence!

See pic below on the flat they were happy to rent out. This is how it looked upon our tour. No problem with letting landlords rent out mould infested flats from dodgy landlords as long as they get paid. If you’re a tenant don’t expect decent service. 1. Robin was happy to have a gossip about us and break GDPR. He told our landlord that his friends at other letting agents had said we’d called around asking policies regarding pets as we were considering getting one . When I politely confronted him on this he denied it and was rude and abrupt. Interesting as there is no other way our landlord could have known this. She then used his words against us. 2. I called once to ask a question about a policy in our lease (landlord kept bringing around creepy bf and not fixing anything). Robin rudely told me “they don’t work for me they work for the landlord” and did everything he could to get me off the phone. I was polite, calm and I can’t say the same for him. 3. When he needed something done and needed a paper signed only then was he polite and said “I hope you understand the position I’m in”. As if this were a situation he were having to live with 24/7 and not something he could clock out from. No empathy or understand from him. Exists to pander to bad landlords and embodies what is wrong with renting in the UK. Adam however was genuinely kind and professional and patient and had great customer service and helped guide us on a matter. Only took 5 minutes and little effort to be polite. Avoid Braxton on unless you want to be told off by and estate agents for asking generic questions or want to be gossiped about.

Sadly we had to sell a family property due to bereavement. We interviewed a number of agents and settled with Tom and Braxtons. Not only were they priced better, a factor which holds some value, but they also had a very kind approach. I was on the buyer end of the transaction but that did not stop them being a support to me. I dealt with Marc (Wrigley) and Sam in the main but interacted with most of the team and they were a pleasure. Marc made this process - which at times was streesssssyyyyyyy - so much easier with his cool, collected and calming approach. He even came to give me a hand with some heavy furniture.
