We bought our house recently from Alan Lee. I've bought and sold a number of houses in the past, so I have some experience of estate agents, and I have to say that both Alan and Lee were far above the norm. Things were still in lockdown, which should've made things more difficult to transact, but they were always available when needed and certainly help things go through smoothly. I'm not normally one to write online reviews, but I thought that they did such a good job they deserve it. There was no 'playing of games' in negotiations and they came across as really decent, straight-forward guys. I'd highly recommend them. We would like to thank Alan & Lee for an excellent job in selling our house in just 7 days from their initial appraisal, even managing to secure the full asking price!!! Alan was extremely personable and we didn’t feel pressurised in any way (unlike when dealing with comparative agents). I never once felt unable to ask even the smallest of questions and despite the ups and downs of our move they didn’t once add to the stress, which was very much appreciated. After initially choosing a high street nationwide estate agents and facing a litany of issues and poor service, I moved to Alan Lee. I used Alan Lee to sell my apartment in Macclesfield after viewing another property with them. The knowledge they had of the house they were selling was a different level to any other agent i have viewed houses with. This gave me confidence that if anyone was going to sell my apartment it would be these guys. I advertised my apartment with them and within the month the apartment was sold and during the sale process they couldn't of done more to make it any easier. As a small team their lines of communication are impeccable and you could ring up tell them your name and they would know straight away how to help you. Moving house is a really stressful experience, but working with Alan Lee has been a pleasure over the last few months. This was my first experience of selling a property and from first meeting Alan when he came to value my property, I felt understood and that my expectations were sensibly managed. This allowed me to make an informed decision when choosing them as my estate agents. Due to their careful consideration with price, I was offered full asking price within three weeks of my property going on the market. At a time when the market was still moving slowly, this felt like a huge achievement.
