GoogleIf I could leave 0 stars I would all day long. Told by their Senior negotiator he advises putting a property on for £350,000, this was where the fixed fee has been based. 4 days later when taking the pictures he advises perhaps put it on for £325K! 7 weeks and lots of ignored emails, calls, texts and only managing to get 4 viewings I am being told we need to drop the price to £300K according to their website, they strive to get the best price available. I have had to resort to the property ombudsman to find out how quickly we can be released from their worthless contract. If you are looking for open channels of communication and honesty, STEER WELL CLEAR.
Dear Mr Messenger I am sorry you are disappointed with the service you say we have given. The property in question is not actually owned by yourself it belongs to your Mother who is our client. The Senior Negotiator who you referred to advised your mother that a guide price would be a better strategy to get even more prospective buyers into the property and aim to achieve the best possible price from the best possible buyer with the least inconvenience to your Mother. We have had viewings on your Mother’s property which resulted in two separate offers from two prospective buyers, of which we felt one of the offers was worth considering. Both offers were declined by the vendor. The market conditions will dictate the current value of a property. It is our responsibility to act in our vendor’s best interest and to advise them on the current market conditions and what we suggest going forward. Shortly after taking instructions to market your Mother’s property, there have been changes in mortgage interest rates, for those who are taking out a mortgage this may have an impact on the price a prospective buyer can offer. One of the offers we had received was a cash buyer. Having reviewed the viewers feedback and the offers we received which were all reported to your Mother and the offers were reported verbally and in writing. We advised your Mother to consider a guide price, we took your instruction on behalf of your mother to decline the guide price request.
