We would highly recommend REA McDonald. We first contacted Barry to carry out a Probate valuation on our late mother’s house. We also contacted one of their competitors with a view to selling the house. The house would have, in the classic Auctioneer phrase, ‘benefitted from some modernisation’. Despite this, Barry immediately spotted the potential and gave good advice as to what level to pitch the asking price. He demonstrated a keen awareness of the local market and we obtained a number of competing offers within a short space of time. Barry and Fiachra then completed all aspects of the sale with a minimum of fuss (despite the unexpected hurdles that we had to clear)

He is very approachable and willing to offer the best advice/guidance he can. He provided an accurate valuation that was completely in line with our thinking and achieved for us exactly what he said he would. He made the viewings as easy as possible and facilitated our schedules to when it suited. He also arranged multiple viewings over two Saturdays which definitely kept the chaos to a minimum.
