This agency deserves below 1 star!!!! I viewed a flat & on the spot put in an offer, filled in the tenancy reservation form on the day, paid a holding deposit & then sent in the required bank/ wage details the next day. Did not hear anything for a wk (presuming they were contacting any referees) & when I hadn’t heard anything, spoke to my work who also hadn’t been contacted, my credit company had not had a check, I emailed the agent (7 days after original information was given) & did not hear back. I then called the agent today (11 days after original offer) to be told that the landlady is not renting the half anymore & is moving back in...!!!!! They still have my deposit!!!!!! Avoid at all costs. They are at the worst dishonest! At best in-professional & unreliable

5/5 for professionalism, perseverance and honest advice. James and Alex managed our property sale. They developed a great relationship with two sets of tenants who lived in the property throughout the sale. They provided excellent advice on all aspects of the process, which was underpinned by a strong understanding of the local market and a good black book of contacts. James has an excellent grasp of the latest digital marketing strategies and leveraged these to ensure the property was presented in the best possible light. A pleasure to deal with - would use again.

My previous review of this sham of a estate and lettings agent madison fox seems to have been removed. Thought I would do another posy and see if this stays Madison fox is by far the biggest liars in the business. The positive post are lies or people with connections to them .e.g dosent Bradley Jones do plumming work for you lettings are not vetted properly Any issues you will be on your own and if they do get involved will take you to the cleaners I urge you to stay away

OMG! Absolute nightmare from start to finish. I would not touch these people with a bargepole! I agree completely with the review below from Wendy Smith, Alex at Madison Fox is a born liar and wouldn't know the truth if it smacked him in the head! Unorganised, Unprofessional, Liars. Pretend to be out of office, never answer emails or calls back, total lack of communication and empathy. Pass the buck around rather than deal with a problem. Gave us a back door key to a rented house with no Tenancy agreement as no-one has signed it, but more than happy to take our money. Am in the process of making complaint to Property Ombudsman. There are so many estate agents to choose from these days, I would consider options before giving these people a penny of your money!!! Other reviews on here that are positive must have been written by the staff at Madison Fox, as I know a few people that have dealt with Madison and they too have had nothing but problems....You have been warned !!!!

I asked for details about a flat for sale on their books on the Saturday, was told that no one from sales could speak to me that day. I rang on the Monday and on the Tuesday and still without success. No one could or would even confirm whether the flat was still for sale or what the position was even though it was still advertised on Right Move. If I was a seller I'd advise going elsewhere to market your property. If you are buyer....good luck! I'm now looking with different estate agents.

Rented the flat with problems and took them 6 months to fix the problems . They should fix the problems before renting the flat out not when are tenants inside to waste my time and money. Flat should of been ready to rent as it says in the contract, this one was not in contract conditions.
