I’m so grateful to the team at Bacon and Co - Broadwater, for their tireless efforts to lead our sale and support the end to end process. Jake Cockerton initially valued our property and lead the process from start to finish. He was friendly and professional and explained everything really clearly. He was only ever a phone call away and was happy to help with any questions. He was able to help drive forward progress throughout the chain when things started to slow down. He regularly communicated with us and made sure we were kept up to date. Natalie was also extremely helpful and supportive and was happy to help us with any questions. The team booked 14 viewings for our property on one day which meant things weren’t too unsettling for our family and I’m very grateful for this! The agent who lead the viewings (sorry I don’t know his name) throughout the open day was also very friendly and welcoming and reassured us in the morning of the open house. He obviously did a great job as we had 4 offers in one day! We will only ever use Jake and the team at Bacon because of the above. Thank you all so much for your professionalism, support and expertise.

I've been in the UK for 11 years, always as a tenant in a few properties throughout the years. There's been very few that I can give a high rate but Bacon and Co is certainly one of them! We rented a property with - at the time Micawber Lettings and now Bacon and Co - for nearly 5 years and they were absolutely amazing! Very professional but equally understanding of each person's needs. In particular Anya has been outstanding. Very friendly, responsive and always with the smile, even in the most challenging moments. All the property maintenance issues were dealt with in a fashionable time. I strongly recommend Bacon and Co as your next lettings agency.

What a team! They sold our house quicker than we thought possible. Abbie was spot on with her knowledge and understanding. Richard was wonderful setting us up with viewings he thought would be a good fit. Martin who took us around was informative and made us really relaxed. And not only did they sell our house, they found us our forever home. Great service as both a buyer and seller. The team were all friendly and approachable and took a lot of the stress away. We wouldn't change a thing but would definitely recommend.

Absolutely fantastic service from Bacon in Broadwater. I would definitely use them again if I ever have the courage to move again! Jake has been fantastic throughout the moving process, communicating regularly from day one. He was always on hand to answer my emails and queries & when away other members of staff were just as helpful. All staff in the branch are friendly and welcoming, nothing ever seemed too much trouble for them even when busy. I found the rest of the moving process very stressful but Jake made it much easier by being so understanding & efficient. Staff even said hello on the Broadwater play day when they were escorting their pig character around with balloons! A really professional service from a top estate agent. This ended up being a tough sale for a few reasons. In the last two weeks prior to sale however, Jake, Natalie and Dave were on hand to assist to get it over the line. They were very responsive, acted quickly and effectively and reported back so we knew what was going on. We know that was a big help in getting it over the line in the last few days. Being honest, agents can and do get a tough rap a lot of the time, myself included. However, my experience with Bacon selling my mums flat, a very emotive process, has been first class. I appreciate good communication, requests actioned quickly and effectively and also, more importantly as a client, we were truly listened to. Thank you Jake, Natalie and Dave. You have helped alleviate a lot of pain in whats been a very sensitive process.

I had just entered the country and was…

I had just entered the country and was looking for a place to move in as quickly as possible. When I contacted balgores to schedule a viewing, the agent Michael was quite rude, judgemental and pompous and told me how he wanted to check first if I might be able to afford the property in the first place prior to scheduling a viewing or it would just be a waste of time for all of us. Once we viewed the flat, Michael told me how he should be able to get me in as quickly as possible. Once I paid the deposit, he called me and told me that the move in date would not be till the end of the week. It seemed convenient how he mentioned it only after I paid the deposit. I was under considerable duress but I tried to adjust anyways and trusted him. He ignored my calls multiple times and the times he picked up he was rude and unpleasant to speak to and hardly listened to what i had to say and also made judgementsand also snapped back at me. At last , 2 weeks later a day prior to the move in date, he called me to let me know that the move in would be further delayed as there was an issue with a safety certificate and he couldn't even commit to a date when the issue would be resolved. Eventually I had to ask for them to return all the money I had paid close to 3800 quids. Although I received my money back, the discomfort and mental hassle I had during the period was devastating to say the least. Extremely unprofessional behaviors.
