If i could give this company 0 stars I would. I booked a studio that was supposed to be ready in august 2021 but was not - even though a contract was signed. The company notified that it wasn’t ready, in august, one month before moving in and failed to provide an alternative. It’s 2023 and I still don’t have my deposit back.

One of the worst experiences I've had so far. The maintenance system is a complete joke. I've been sleeping in a broken bed for 11 months and have gotten injuries. All they could respond was by saying sorry. Im not sure about the other landlords. But the one here is absolute worse. If you decide to make a stand by not paying rent until the maintenance is done. They just threaten to call your guarantor. I don't want you apologies . I want compensation

I've recently been dealing with Rik, Joe and James at Loc8 Loughborough and they have all been great! As a landlord I've been looking for agents who are responsive and also responsible and these guys are all over both. When there are maintenance issues they deal with them promptly and efficiently, often getting quotes from a couple of contractors or multiple options. Not only repairing the issues but also thinking about the longevity of the repairs and futureproofing. Thanks guys, looking forward to working with you further!

a very calm experience, the process for letting our student house was easy with loc8me, and the staff are very helpful and acc nice. fern from loc8me was really understanding and helpful when we had to move from our old property fairly quickly, and made the process stress free for all of us the house itself is so sick, bare modern and had everything included, the best looking student house i’ve probably ever seen and the prices were great. loc8me is probably the first student estate agents i’ve seen that acc care about students, unlike some others 🤨 *(the the one that begins with a d and ends in vers). i’ll leave the rest to your imagination but yeah all in all it’s been a pretty sick experience dealing with loc8me, i’m in my final year but if i DID have to rent another student property it would defo be with loc8me.

At first they lure you in with attractive propositions and freebies which is great, but as soon as you move in and something goes wrong your on your own, they send people out to fix things but it’s all done to the bare minimum, the houses are finished well but again just done for appearance and don’t stand withstand any day to day use, all before they charge you to replace the poor quality furnishings and decorations. We found ourselves regularly being bullied by unprofessional and lazy agents who would do anything to save themselves money even if it was there fault. Overall I would never use this company ever again!!!!

Chasing these guys to replace an absolutely grubby, worn and disgusting couch in a flat rented for my son at university in Loughborough. Constantly being promised before moving in that this nasty piece of furniture would be replaced and for three months no response except the landlord is not obligated to replace it. Shocking unacceptable standards to say the least. Rent gets paid on time but nothing gets done on time if at all…

STAY AWAY STUDENTS. If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst agency around. Makes it common practice to try and scam students of all of their deposit without reason. Contracts are always incorrect, which allows for Loc8Me to scam unsuspecting students easily. The staff (like Jade Pegg and Emily) are positively odious and take advantage of new freshers. STAY AWAY
