Excellent Support for First Time Buyers As first time buyers, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Holden’s Estate Agents. Buying our dream first home felt much less daunting thanks to the fantastic support from Jacob and the whole team, who were friendly, approachable and always happy to answer our questions. They made the entire process smooth and stress free from start to finish, and we were amazed to be in our new home just 12 weeks after making our offer. We’re so grateful for their professionalism, efficiency and genuine care throughout. Would highly recommend Holden’s to anyone buying a home!

Had a great experience recently selling my house. The team was enthusiastic, helpful, and kept in regular communication about how both my sale and onward purchase were progressing. Viewings and progress can be kept track of via an app which is handy. The team and especially Jacob were always quick to respond and happy to chase up or deal with any issue. Their professionalism helped take the stress out of the process, and I would thoroughly recommend them as agents.

The biggest compliment I could give to Holdens in Lostock Hall is the fact I don't regularly review. We recently just sold our house and the process couldn't have been easier. Holdens Lostock Hall, recently sold my property for me, from the initial contact to get a valuation to completion date I can’t fault them. They did a great job with the online brochure and my property sold for asking price within 5 weeks ( which I wasn’t expecting to be so quick). They carried out the viewings for me and kept me up to date with these. Once offer was accepted the whole process went through quickly and trouble free really. I’ll certainly not hesitate to recommend Holdens to anyone selling their property or if I ever move again using them in the future. Thank you Laura, Sophie, Michael & Jacob.

Unfortunately, this review doesn't allow for less than 1 star. We found the Holdens staff to be rude, moody, and at times hostile! Making us feel very uncomfortable and upset. We called one afternoon for an update on our sale and had the misfortune to have Mr Holden answer the phone. Mr Holden was so aggressive and actually laughed at us! This was a common theme when we had any dealings with people at Holdens. Communication is nonexistent, and we were made to feel like a big inconvenience to them. When some issues arrived in the chain and we needed help, support, and reassurance, we were again met with a bad attitude and told its not their job to sort out even though we're their customers. Mr Holden accused us of being demanding, and we advised him that we are your paying customers, and he just laughed like he didn't care! We wouldn't recommend this agent to anyone. It really saddens me that this review is necessary. However, I must stress that you use another agent. As a result of this review, Holdens blocked me on Facebook, which only provides further proof to their appaling behaviour.

Sadly I have to reluctantly give a 1 star as they don’t even deserve this. I found the staff rude and belittling. Being an important decision to make I needed time to look round the property and think about changes that needed to be made. They offered me a maximum of 15 minutes to look round. Even Google says it should be an average of 20-30 mins to view a house you are interested in. Will never use these guys again even if I find a house I like. Terrible service. I have no idea what you are going on about in your reply. I live in Devon and planned to visit over the weekend. So I could not be late as I was not coming this weekend, in fact the day I asked to come has not arrived yet, so how could I be late? I have bought several properties in different parts of the country and never experienced anything as crazy as this. I in fact cancelled the viewing, so now I am totally confused as to what you are talking about??!!
