Worst experience I have ever hadI felt completely ripped off at every stage of living in a Simple Life home. The prices are simply extortionate. Avoid if you want a simple life.

Hi Ethan,We’re sorry to hear that our rents were no longer suitable for your budget. We do base our rents on that of the local market and we try to take a considered approach when reviewing rents for our customers. It is written within your tenancy contract that rents will be reviewed annually, which is standard for the rental industry. Unfortunately, as we are not an Affordable Housing Provider, we are unable to avoid increases, like any other business.

I reported my washing machine wasn’t working and someone came out straight away and found I needed a replacement washer which was ordered for me , a week later I had a call to say they were delivering and fitting it which they did quickly and efficiently no mess and I have to say I’m very happy with my new washer/ dryer

Was faced with a sudden nightmare scenario of my front door not working. Wouldn't lock no matter how much i tried. As this was a desperate situation, i called Olivia and a little over an hour later the issue was resolved. Was directed to log the issue using the online portal, and the locksmith who arrived was extremely polite and helpful.

We are moving in two weeks and have only just been given a date to view the property. We also paid the deposit and one months rent early and never had a message to say it had been received. Had to ring up to make sure it was there as it was such a large amount of money. We haven’t been informed very well at all

I have just finished my application process with Katie and she has been nothing but helpful and informative throughout my whole experience. She has done the most to accommodate my needs and has been there at all times and always gave me a speedy response. I have not moved in yet but the customer service I have received from Katie makes me hopeful that the moving in process will be smooth.

Simple Life provide a modern and easy approach to renting. They have good systems in place making any maintenance, repairs and standard compliance checks simple and straight forward. Most important are the people, and our asset manager, Hannah Bishop, who is very approachable and always checks in to make sure things are progressing properly.

We have been in the property nearly 1 year. The response to the fixflo app is very good. We have managed to get all the snagging defects rectified. Asset Manager always checks to make sure that the defects are in progress or complete and we have an excellent relationship with her.

If you want to have a “Simple life” don’t choose this company because your life will become everything else apart from “simple”. Till they get you to do the application for their homes they will be really kind, quick response but after… after good luck chasing them!
