To echo another review, our experience as a buyer with James was unfortunately very negative. He was aggressive and unnecessarily rude throughout the process. If we hadn’t been under time pressure to proceed with the purchase, we would have seriously considered withdrawing based on that experience alone. While this approach might suit sellers, from a buyer’s perspective it was deeply off-putting.

I used Wild and Co to manage my rental property for several years and also to market to sell. James was fantastic during that time. He is honest and efficient and used initiative to help my tenants when he couldn’t reach me because I was at work. He always explained costs clearly and was able to appropriately and fairly negotiate my contribution to any costs as a landlord, as well as keeping my tenants happy ensuring all urgent repairs were done. He helped me out above and beyond several times, by allowing me to spread management fees over multiple invoices. James did his best to keep any maintenance costs manageable and reasonable and he was always on top of any certificates that needed doing. Whenever I have dealt with anyone else in his office they have been professional and helpful. James was honest when marketing my property and never exaggerated what he believed it was worth - he also let me know when he thought an offer was too low. He achieved the top of what I expected only a few weeks after I marketed the property to sell. James was extremely helpful throughout the process, which was a complete nightmare due to my property being a leasehold. He was more helpful than any other party involved, although organising the paperwork was not part of his job role. He helped keep the buyer engaged in a difficult process with many enquiries back and forth with solicitors and leasehold. I have no hesitation recommending Wild and Co for rental management or sale. I can’t speak for my tenants but they seemed happy and James always advocated for them when it came to prompt repairs and negotiating costs. He is honest and fair. Their fee was worth every penny, both at sale and during rental management.

I Just called & spoke to James the owner & manager of sales in their only branch in Hackney. What a rude & arrogant man. I called to get information on potentially selling my house through them & he told me to, "go sell it myself". Gosh with his attitude I would be in no doubt better at trying to sell it myself or go to one of his many competitors than using his company. I called him back to tell him how rude he was to me yesterday & he continued to speak rudely to me. I explained to him how if he where to sell my place potential clients would have to speak to him & if he where to treat them how he spoke to me, a potential client, then a normal person wouldn't want to deal with him. What a rude & difficult person he is to deal with I thought, I would have thought that with so much competition out there especially with estate agents folding & being in the customer services sector the very least one would expect of a sales Manager/owner is for them to be polite the most basic of requirements to potential customers.Gosh 22 years in the business & you still have not learnt that one simple fact...

I'd tried to sell my flat on several occasions over the years but had fallen into the trap of using the big named corporate style agencies. However, after being consistently underwhelmed I fell upon James at Wild & Co. I have to say that James is a breath of fresh air; he knows the local market inside out, gives straight up advice, speaks like human being and not like a whining nasally agent-bot, got me the price I wanted and had a firm grip on the transaction all the way through. Excellent estate agents who go the extra mile

I can't praise Wild & Co enough for the way that they handled the sale of our Hackney flat. We initially decided to sell with Wild & Co because they were locally based and themselves lived in the area. After they listed our flat we had a lot of viewings in the first few weeks and secured a great buyer after a month, and with our onward offer accepted, the chain was complete and everything seemed to be progressing smoothly. But when the buyer pulled out for personal reasons, in the middle of the second lockdown and with our onward purchase at risk, that's when James and Ovi were really, really great. They were relentless in finding other buyers for us, trying different strategies and pursuing leads, and once we accepted a new buyer, really stuck with us until the final day of getting our sale over the line. Their communication was great, very open, accessible and frequent which made us feel a lot more confident at what was a highly stressful time. We also appreciated their honesty and local expertise when it came to how to treat offers and approach price. Overall they were just great, and we couldn't recommend them enough. Jamie & Rhia
