We rented a flat in Mayfair for 12 months through Wetherell. Despite marketing themselves as a luxury agent, our experience with them has been that of slow replies, multiple mistakes, and a general lack of communication. Our flat was not adequately cleaned and did not undergo the maintenance stipulated in our contract prior to moving. Maintenance was then organised after the date we picked up the keys and our move was delayed by several weeks. When our tenancy ended, it took FOUR MONTHS for our deposit to be returned. We tried to chase this through multiple emails and phone calls, many of which were never returned. The staff stated that the delay was due to them chasing a gas invoice (which we had already supplied). In the end our deposit was retuned when we lodged a claim through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, and it was only through the inaction of Wetherell (not responding to our claim within the specified timeframe) that we were able to receive our deposit back.

We had the pleasure of working together with Sonia from Wetherell. She scheduled two viewings for us very promptly in the exact area we wanted to live. Neither of those were exactly what we were looking for, and we gave her some more detail on what we wanted. A couple of hours later she messaged us with an option that looked very promising. We viewed the flat the next morning and knew we had found the one. Sonia was kind enough to let us see it again the next day, even bringing a tape measure from home so we could take measurements for furniture. She is extremely responsive, communicative, and gave her honest opinion during our flat hunting process. We cannot recommend her highly enough - she is a lovely person with a bright future ahead of her in the real estate industry!
