GoogleGreat experience with View Lettings. Robin was extremely helpful, personable and goes the extra mile to ensure that we were happy. He even went back for a second viewing of the property after he was supposed to finish on a Saturday.

GoogleWorst experience with an agency. After viewing the requested flat, we were pressured to pay a week of holding deposit, so that the house was taken off the market (which never happened) and we would block it. After days of intense checks against us (instead of asking everything at once) we were informed that the flat was rented by other people .. So tell me what is the use of paying the deposit if the house is not granted. practically wasted a week of time deluding ourselves that we could take a flatNegativeProfessionalism

Dear Nicolo we are sorry that you are unhappy with the experience. We were unable to put your offer to the landlord as you could not provide required information. By the time you provided this information the landlord had accepted an offer from a different agency. We tried our best to push this through but it was out of our control. GoogleThese guys were trying to try shift a rental property I was moving out of - a number of cancelled viewings which I wasn't notified of until I chased up asking whether the person viewing was running late... Had a call from the team thinking my contact details were that of a prospective tenant rather than the sitting tenant straight after having called me to check if I'd be in for them to do a viewing. Went to check out of the property with the managing agent and there was mud all over the floor after I'd had the flat professionally cleaned. A few viewings where the agent was more interested in speaking to me than selling the property to the prospective new tenant which added into the property taking too long to be offered on. Very poor experience all in all

GoogleAfter having no results at all with them finding no suitable tenants and bad experiences with them trying to foist someone totally unsuitable and high risk on me, I decided to handle things myself and avoid more long delays. I told them I no longer wanted them to market my flat. I paid to advertise my own flat on all the property websites only to find they haven't removed their ad for my lovely flat but in addition I've had feedback from some potential tenants who PERSEVERED and contacted me via my own adverts after being told by View Lettings that my flat had been let, which it has NOT. They are unethical a to be avoided.

Dear Louisa, We would like to apologise for the administrative error which led to your property being left on the portal and we will look at any wrong information given to tenants. We did find tenants for your property at £300pw to move in as soon as it was available. They had a combined salary of £65k pa, excellent landlord reference and also agreed to your request of a UK guarantor as you were worried that they had not lived in the country recently. In the end they decided not to proceed as they felt they were being asked to provide to much especially given that they fulfilled the affordability requirement. Again we apologise if you felt let down by us and I am happy to discuss the matter further with you. We truly believe that we worked hard to do everything right by you and the tenants. GoogleWe rented a place with View for 2 years and during that period we found them to be the nicest team. They were always on it and made the process smooth. Much better than many Estate Agents we've dealt with in the past. They were a small team which meant we dealt with people who knew the ins and outs of the property. Definitely recommend!

GoogleAwful experience with this letting company. After moving into a property that was not properly cleaned (we found a curry sauce packet that was two years out of date in one of the cupboards), we were then told that when we moved out we were to be withheld the deposit because according to the letting agent it was an absolute state. We had spent a whole day scrubbing the place. I was then spoken to by a female letting agent in the frostiest, nastiest and most unprofessional manner I've ever experienced. When they say letting agents are only in it for the money, I didn't think that it applied to all. But it definitely, definitely applies to view lettings. **** After a reply from the Letting Agents, I have absolutely no intention to change my review. I understand that View Lettings have little obligation to ensure a flat is cleaned etc, but they are representing the landlord and tenant and at no point did I feel as though they had mine or my fellow tenant's best interests. The flat was not cleaned, and if the cleaners did come they did a horrendous job. Regarding the manner in which the employee spoke to me, I find it difficult to accept that it was 'not her intention'. Her intention or not, she should have never spoken to a customer or tenant in that way. I will not be changing my review, because in all honesty I do not find the comments unfair, nor do I think it wrong to warn potential Google users about what they could come up against here.*****

Dear Jessica it has taken a while to work out how to respond to this review , but please see points below. I am sorry that you feel you were spoken to in an unprofessional manner but I am sure it was not the intention of our employee to offend you. The property was professionally cleaned at the beginning of the tenancy by Fantastic cleaners. The landlord has a receipt from the company to verify this. The property was checked at the end of the tenancy and did have to be professionally cleaned. This was charged to you by the landlord. However I have spoken to the landlord who in fact returned your deposit in full with no deduction for cleaning. View Lettings would make no financial gain from the property being cleaned. Where the property is professionally cleaned at the start of the tenancy it is standard practise for the tenants to have a similar clean carried out. We feel that your comments are a bit unfair and do not reflect the truth of the situation.

GoogleView Lettings have been hugely accommodating in our search during what has been a chaotic few weeks trying to find a flat. Super quick at responding, don't mind the silly questions and a very nice group of people. The team runs a really smooth process getting all checks and references in order.
