I needed a room urgently and Iana helped me so much. I had problems with other agencies before so I don't really trust anybody anymore. But Victorstone, they are very trustworthy, helpful and nice! Thanks Iana!

If I could give you a word of advice about using Victorstone it is this: DON'T. They refused to do any repairs on the flat I lived in. They never returned my security deposit, even though I left the flat in good condition. When I moved to a new property, they decided to reach out their cold corrupt hands from the grave one last time. They told my new landlord that they could not provide a reference for me since they do not discuss "bad tenants." Apparently requesting basic plumbing repairs made me a difficult tenant. Thankfully, their reputation is so bad my landlord did not take them seriously.

Avoid at all costs. I've lived and rented a number of places in London for many years, this was the worst agency experience I've ever had. The landlord pulled out the contract on the day I was supposed to move in because of their poor communication. At this point they already had taken about £5,000 and started avoiding call and messages. They continuously lie, don't response for calls, emails, messages, or nothing. I have made 30+ phone calls and a number of messages in few days, just to speak to the manager. Even if you've seen an amazing flat they're advertising, it's really not worth it. Unless you enjoy hearing voicemail robot voice or mansplaining from the manager, how busy this big man is. ❤️ Unprofessional, borderline scammers.

JUST DON'T EVER TRUST THEM. Most unacceptable behaviour I've ever faced. Totally unprofessional in any possible way. We payed a holding deposit and we were very close to the agreement when they SUDDENLY announced us 3 days before the move-in date, that we couldn't move in the flat BUT AT LEAST 10 DAYS LATER THAN THE DATE WE HAD AGREED. Not only this, but they are so IRRESPONSIBLE that we had to chase them for 1.5 month with no answer to TONS of phone calls and emails to take our money back. Finally, they had to receive another email from a British person an Director of a company to refund our deposit, whatever this means for their respect to foreign people. I have no idea who writes positive reviews about this office, but I would like to warn everyone, JUST DON'T TRUST THEM.

WE HAVE BEEN WATING 3 MONTHS FOR OUR DEPOSIT TO BE RETURNED. Honestly, I don't recommend this place at all, if I could give no stars I would. They ignore our emails, refuse to give us any information over the phone, and our Landlord for that house has revealed that the tenants before us have yet to get their deposit back either A YEAR AND 3 MONTHS ON. Unacceptable. Terrible customer service. All you will ever be to them is money coming in since they don't even feel the need to return it when it is LEGALLY REQUIRED TO.

If you are checking the reviews as you are considering to rent a property from this agent, the only advice I would give you is: AVOID. And please don't think that those reported bad experiences are just special cases. When we saw the reviews stating that this agency tends to be unresponsive, lazy, not calling back after receiving the holding deposit, etc, we thought that this might not necessarily happen to us. But we were WRONG, and things were even worse than just not getting any replies. The agency messed up at the very first step: they accepted deposits from multiple groups (how could it be?) But they did not return the money. Instead, they asked us to bid higher and higher to beat the other group. After a few long days' negotiation, we did not get the property. But at the point that we gave up the property, we did not know that this was just the start of another nightmare. The email reply significantly slowed down after we asked for the return of our deposit (almost £400). When we called the agency, the agent tried to **pretend that he was not the person who has been contacting us and responsible for all the processes**, saying that he knew nothing about our case (but actually he IS the guy who asked for and accepted our deposit). We tried to follow up the returning process. From this point we got into a painful cycle: calling the company →being informed that the agent is not at his desk(as always)→not getting any call back→calling the agent's mobile; then if luckily he answered→we being told a near date on which the refund would be made→not receiving anything on the date→calling the company→... . Every time the guy either gave a too busy excuse (because they have too many deposits to return!) or just told us there was some mistake. After almost one month, we finally got our deposit back on Friday. And compared to other reported experience, one month may be regarded as a short waiting period. This whole process just demonstrates how unprofessional Victorstone is. Unless you enjoy this kind of mental torture, avoid this agency!

I cannot begin to describe the frustration this company have caused. The last 12 months of 'working with them' ie. calling to no avail whenever there was an issue with the disastrous property they SOMEHOW managed to rent us through deception and disguise of existing issues (eg the plank of wood they placed over a GAPING HOLE in the kitchen...) Please, no matter if you think you've found your DREAM PROPERTY through these people or are just desperate to get a roof over your head ASAP, do NOT use this service. Worst experience of my life and have been renting in London for the last 3 years. You've been warned.

Mine and my flatmates tenancy with victorstone ended nearly 3 months ago and we still haven't seen the return of our deposit. Each time we have made a phone call we have all been told the same thing, that someone will get back in touch with us however not once have we received a phone call back. Victorstone still owe us a lot of money and we are no closer to receiving this than we were 3 months ago. Very poor service

The worst letting agency on this planet. If I could give it NEGATIVE 100 STARS I WOULD. I rented out a flat with VS with 4 other students for a 2 year contract. Did absolutely nothing to help us when we had issues. No hot water all the time and never send people to fix it. Mould everywhere and no one cleaned it before we moved in. Disgusting conditions with a false promise of a new bathroom and shower when we moved in. Told us we couldn’t rent for a lower price because of the fact that they would be refurbishing the bathroom - this didn’t happen and we still accepted the high rent. Conned us of our money because we’re students. One member of staff was so lazy actually blocked us from calling and pretended to be ‘out of the office’ for weeks on end when we had no hot water, broken beds and a broken shower that needed fixing. NEVER USE VICTORSTONE EVER. STAY AWAY FROM THEM, THEY WILL EXTORT YOUR MONEY.

Avoid! My partner and I went to see a property to rent and we put a holding deposit £1000 ( most of agencies is between 300-500). 5 days later Tim one of the agents phoned us saying the property was given to another guy. Obviously I asked for my holding deposit, I had to phone 7 days to ask for MY MONEY BACK. After 10 days we had to go to the agency to get it. We obviously missed nearly a week trying to find a house plus we couldn't get one we liked as we didn't have enough money. TOTAL SCAM! AVOID IT!

I had been struggling so hard to find somewhere that delivers as much efficiency, productivity and professionalism as Victorstone. My son was looking to buy his first property away from home but had no idea where to start! I asked around a few of my friends who I knew had recently been looking for new properties and astonishingly all 4 people i asked had recommended these guys! I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a representative of theirs by the name of "Joshua Cowley-Smith" who welcomed us at the door with open arms who offered us drinks and even a bite to eat! The deal is nearly done and if anyone is looking to buy/ rent property, do it through these guys! and ask for Joshua!

My girlfriend and I used Victorstone to lease out a flat, regrettably we had to leave earlier than scheduled. They had not helped us at all in regards to replacing us. They are a fraudulent company who don't secure deposits. I HIGHLY recommend that you stay away from this company and pay the extra bit of money for another place. To the landlords who use this company - take your assets and go with another company that you know and trust. This company will take you for a ride for your money. STAY. AWAY.

I'm currently too angry to even express how appalling this agency has treated us - the contempt, the ridiculous fees, the lies, the mis-selling, the inability to actually do anything to help us. Two tenants in our flat have developed asthma symptoms due to the damp in our flat that the agency and the council were repeatedly informed of. The agency lied to me about communicating with the landlord (I contacted him seperately so I know they lied) and used this to stall doing any works on the basically falling apart flat with no boiler and broken doors and damp everywhere. They decribe my attempt to complain rationally as abusive and then attempted to deny this when I confronted them in writing. My life has been torn apart finanacially, physically and emotionally by this agency who can't even talk to me like I'm a human being. Please, if you do anything, take a stand and use another agency or find a private landlord and don't support an agency that holds contempt for human beings. I had to pay in excess of £100 fees just to escape this agency.

An absolutely abysmal estate agent. Throughout the past year I have dealt with incompetent staff who haven't aided our move in or out process. After extortionate fees and multiple viewings to our current letting that weren't arranged with the tenants (even after several emails and calls to ask them to arrange these first), I now have to deal with the consequences of them not sending my credit check details to my letting agent. Not answering my calls and charging me £37 for this service, I'd have hoped that when I finally got in touch with an employee they would sort this out for me. But no, after a week I'm still waiting for a service that I paid for to materialise.

It was always me calling and begging for help. That's not a respectable service. They made me send 1000£ for a studio, which had some council problems and I found about it when arrived in London, day before planned moving in date and I found it out by calling them. Yeah, they did not notify me. Also, they took 4 days to send the money back. Giving 2 stars just because they were polite.

I have just secured a property through Victorstone via an online viewing. Thank you very much Iana for your patience and professionalism. I loved the idea of offering virtual tours for all the properties that I was interested in and the videos instead of an actual viewing at this current situation. I’m looking forward to move to my new home next week! I highly recommend their service.

Being based in Italy I had the chance to be witness to a full process of letting of my flat in London just sit down on my sofa. By the assistance of Angelo, Thomas and Diana (Victorstone team) I reached my goal to find a kind and reliable tenant easily and in few time. Thank you guys for the great job and your trustworthy professionalism. Gianmario S.

They don't even do the minimal required work for an agency like giving me a inventory list when I moved in. They also let in builders without my consent and never respond to emails. Even on the phone they are rarely helpful. This agency is so terrible that I've decided to never rent from an agency ever again - only private landlords from now on...
