We left UNCLE after 12 months after they tried to abusively increase the rent (+15%), despite the local tube station closing for 6 months. When trying to get our deposit back, they deducted an additional £300 for unreasonable fees, even though we paid before their £323 professional cleaning fee.

After weeks of searching for a flat for my fiancée and I, I found a listing for UNCLE Southall and knew it was home. The UNCLE team made the move in process stress free and an easy transition. The team is always friendly and courteous. In particular, Nicole has always gone above and beyond to ensure our experience with UNCLE is always amazing. I genuinely enjoyed the personal touch of leaving a handwritten welcome card in the flat. Nicole had also sent an email with recommended places my fiancée would want to visit; as she is new to the country. The UNCLE Southall team is always doing their best to make us feel like they’re our second family.As for the flat itself, we’re already thinking about renewing our rental contract for the following year. The UNCLE Southall flats are best for young professionals/ couples. The building’s design is modern and clean. We purchased a furnished one bedroom flat. It is equipped with high quality and stylish furniture that is well placed, creating a spacious environment. The amenities are still in the process of being built but will include a gym and communal work area, great for those who work from home. The building is also a short walk to Southall Station, allowing easy access to Central.

I enjoyed nigh on 4 years at Uncle Stockwell. Over that period of time, every single member of staff was helpful, kind, and knowledgable. All of them made living there an enjoyable, stress-free experience. Specific mention must go to Ruth and Duncan who - on more than one occasion - went above and beyond to assist: whether it was checking my postbox for deliveries, emailing a tenancy document, or topping up the electricity meter, they were invariably able to help. As a young professional, I could not have asked for a better living space.With thanks - Scott.

Moving in to UNCLE Stockwell this summer was so simple, the staff were so welcoming and made everything super easy. The apartment and the building’s common areas are lovely, and the entire team are so helpful, especially the wonderful Ruth and Duncan. They also have really fantastic communications with residents, keeping us updated all the time! It’s in a great location for working in central London, and has everything I need. ☺️

Hi to all the Wembley staff in reception. Asam, Daniel, Joe and Maria - and all the other lovely reception staff. We are truly enjoying our stay here - people are quite nice - when you meet them in the lift or Gym. The apartment is lovely - very cosy love the BalconyAnd everything is on working order. Daniel and Joe are always quick to carry out any work, that needs doing. Myself and my partner moved in January after a very tough year last year and this move has been the best thing we have done. We love living here and can’t recommend it enough. Mostly because of the amazing staff that are so warm and welcoming and make a huge effort with us and it is really appreciated! We have a special thanks for Asaam and Dan for really going the extra mile and helping us out of hours when we have been locked out (several times!!!) Dan even came to let us in just a few minutes before the big England game last night!!! Assam, Dan and Maria really do make this place feel like home and we are very grateful for everything they do to make this the best renting experience we have ever had and one of the main reasons we are staying here :)

We've lived at UNCLE Stockwell for almost 3 years: and it was the best years we had! In that time. A really thankful for Ruth, Duncan, Paul, Gabriela, and everybody else have been absolutely wonderful.We lived in a studio and themselves are modern and with a good price for London. Also, If we require something or fixed anything in the flat, they could sorted out this asap.Absolutely thanks for everything. We will miss this place!

3month rent are taken in advance. Due to travel ban I can’t move in the time on contract, so I kept negotiate with them but they just ignore my email. So I want to break the contract. Then 2 month later they send me a contract said if I sign I got some deposit back. they still charge me the two month electricity which is too large for an empty flat. The room is still empty, so I want them to read the meter again, they refused.In this way the rent, deposit and electricity I paid are legally away from me since I’m fooled to sign those thing.

I tried to rent an flat with them, they started collecting references 10 days after the initial green light, and at the end try to say was my fault. Then asked me a guarantor earning 50x more the rent value, per year, while I found out in reality they just ask 30x. Then they said the guarantor must to be British, while I found out they can be from any nationality...After all, I didn’t get the flat, which perhaps they were keeping for someone else. A so called “operations manager” said “was investigating” the case, and then just ignored my e mails.

I have lived in Uncle Stockwell for the past 2 years and the Resident team have been truly outstanding. Ruth, Duncan and Gaby always go above and beyond to help everyone in the building with huge smiles every day. If you ever have a problem, they always do everything they can to help you and are genuinely lovely people who care about the residents. They make an effort to greet everyone who walks through the door, fix issues immediately, operate the equivalent of a Royal Mail warehouse with no issues and suprise you with hand written cards for birthdays and holidays. I was very happy here and felt very looked after when I moved in. I highly recommend anyone looking for a place to live in Stockwell to join the Uncle family! Thank you very much for everything and wishing the team all the best.

We've lived at Uncle Wembley for 3.5 months now and everything has been awesome! The apartment is new and cleaned before we moved in, and if we had any issues, problems were solved within 2 days; very efficient!Asam, Daniel, Maria and Joe are the best!! They never fail to make you feel welcome and are always there when you need help; from parcel services to maintenance! They keep residents updated and their emails are always fun to read :) (really enjoy the gifs)We would highly recommend Uncle Wembley! A 10/10!!

First time in the UK, and looking for a good apartment with all the right qualities was the most stressful thing to go through specially for a family with children. After viewing UNCLE Wembley, we moved a week later and no regrets since. Its safe, clean, well-finished modern design, amazing views, great amenities, everything you need is less than a 5 minute walk away.Asam's positivity is AMAZING, any issue raised would be handled within hours if not minutes!! Big shout to Ruth and Duncan for being very helpful and easy to deal with. The key to living in UNCLE is to get on with the staff. If you have any problems, if you are polite and respectful, they will do their best to assist. Some things are out of their hands (football pitch, broken dryers) but where they can assist, they do. Ruth always bubbly and up for a laugh which during COVID was needed. Shame the lounge and gym were out of commission during lockdown so didn't really enjoy those benefits. I did enjoy exercising in the park, watching the football, etc. We even had a modern NY style skyline from Vauxhall. Thanks to the team. I would recommend.

Our entire experience at UNCLE has been up and down but the true hero at this company is John. He is the honestly one the hardest working people I've ever met, but he is also such a kind person. He comes over to fix anything we need at anytime and is always so so lovely to us. I really think he is saving grace of this place. We are moving out shortly and are really going to miss his energy and presence. We love John!!

We have been living here for almost a year, after several years in London with experiences with landlords who did not take over their responsibilities, it has been nice to find a modern place close to the center where they are also in touch to solve our problems quickly, problems with the fridge , pipes etc.the truth is we are very grateful to Vivian and the concierge for their work, they have made us feel comfortable living here.

My daughter and her boyfriend have been so well looked after by Daniel, Maria and Joe. Being so far away from my girl has been made much, much easier knowing the level of care and service the team at Uncle provide. I felt confident before the move, and now, having visited the apartment, I’m blown away by the quality of everything - build, finish, furniture all top class. Although the place itself is excellent it’s the service level of the onsite team that makes Uncle Wembley exceptional. Very grateful mum and very happy visitor.

A great rental experience. Prompt reply from the staff and they are so nice, humble and helpful. Guideline and Instruction video are clear and you can see they have put an effort on this apartment. Although some common area of the apartment are still under construction, staff give a great help during this period of time. I would recommend UNCLE to the others.

I've had such a great experience living at Uncle Stockwell over the past year and a half, and have just renewed to stay! Such a great location with great views and easy access to everywhere in central London (with a park right outside to enjoy the sun in). Studio itself is lovely and feels like home - well maintained and any issues I've had have been sorted super quick.Everyone who works (and lives) here is super friendly and helpful - it's been particularly nice during this pandemic (as someone who is living alone) to know that there are such friendly people around! It's also been really reassuring the steps they've taken to ensure there is social distancing and good hygiene (fogging and handgels)!

I've been living in the UNCLE Stockwell building since December with my partner and I have to say this is the least stressful experience with a landlord I've ever had - the move-in process was efficient, the room is clean and more importantly easy to keep clean and the residential team are amazing, especially right now when we're all home due to the coronavirus lockdown. The team are keeping us regularly up to date with everything we need to know and moved super quick to make sure deliveries come to our flats to keep us all safe. Ruth and Duncan are brilliant, so helpful and friendly and I couldn't ask for a better service when anything needs fixing in the flat! Honestly, I love it here. Wholeheartedly recommend.
