As it is my first time renting a property, I was full of concerns and questions however from the get go Hardev, who is one of the estate agents at the firm has been very helpful to me. His attitude has been both professional and friendly which reassured me as I knew I could contact him if I required any assistance. Stow Brothers offered the worst of both worlds as they failed to represent the best interests of buyer or seller; they only represented themselves and only cared about getting the sale through at any cost. In our case this involved the agent promising a substantial reduction in sale price if we did not complete by a specified date (who would agree to that?!), all without our consent and not listed on the Memo of Sale. That they covered the costs for this dodgy deal, essentially admission of guilt, was the only honourable thing they could do. We were also offered poor advice when the house was undervalued by the bank. The buyers' behaviour was even more despicable, though Stow Brothers tapped into their experience and similar values there to deal with them effectively. Look past the fancy marketing and watch out, based on our experience.

We recently bought with Stow Brothers and we were very impressed with them, the whole team was very professional and they were easy to get in touch with. Claudia in particular helped a lot with getting the whole chain to move forward, keeping everyone updated, and without someone like her the whole process could have taken much longer. Unfortunately they did recommend a conveyancer to our seller who was incompetent and frankly a bit thick. Do some research before choosing a conveyancer.

I'm a landlord and I used YourMove for years until they sold up and the property transferred to the Stow Brothers. I found the new service to be much more bureaucratic with lots more forms and processes and emails than I used to have with YourMove, but maybe that's just life these days. The staff at Stow (Hannah, Nick and Sophie) were all very friendly and helpful and professional in navigating me through what had to be done. The property was let very rapidly too :)

We successfully completed on a property sold by Stow Brothers in August 2022, after a very difficult, veeeery long eight months, in a horrendously fragile chain of 7. I genuinely believe we couldn't have done it without them. Specifically the tireless, dedicated work of Claudia, who entered superhuman mode in the final stages, spending whole days chasing up and down the chain. It thankfully and amazingly came together under 24 hours before completion. If luck wasn't the driving factor of that, it was Claudia. We sold our property through a different estate agent. If I did it again, I would also sell through Stow Brothers to make the process simpler. They consistently went above and beyond, and as melodramatic as it sounds, I will forever be grateful to them. Highly recommended.

I have recently bought a property through Stow Bros (team were Andrew, Peter and Paul) - each of them were so helpful. As a first time buyer the team really guided me through the process and were incredibly helpful in allowing me back to the property to take measurements etc. Andrew in particular was so very helpful! Hugely recommend this team. Your calls are never ignored and they do their best to get the best deal for both seller and buyer!

We’ve just finished a tenancy with Stow Brothers and I can’t recommend them enough. Our property manager, Suela, has been friendly, responsive and helpful, and has made everything really smooth and easy. We ended the tenancy early due to relocating out of London, and Suela and her colleagues were incredibly understanding and made sure this could happen without trouble. Maintenance issues were always addressed promptly and followed up quickly if the issue wasn’t resolved. Overall, I wish we could rent with Stow brothers again. They were fantastic!

I had a great experience renting my house out with Stow Brothers for the last 4 years, so when it came to selling it was a no brainer. Selling can be a bit difficult, letting go of a house you are very attached to. The sales department was friendly, straight forward, honest and professional & valued the house at a good and realistic price. I was very pleased to have so many offers over the listing price from well vetted potential buyers. Lucy steered me through the process in a friendly manner, made the calls to keep the ball rolling and we were able to complete in just 2 months which was very good for my personal circumstances. I would highly recommend Stow brothers for both letting and sales.
