Positive experience

I had a really stressful property purchase- but I cant fault Tennisons and specifically Peter Gilbert for doing their best to keep the purchase going. Peter was very proactive and kept me updated - better than my solicitor! He was very pleasant and quick to answer my queries and propose potential solutions. Im now finally in and very grateful to Peter for his professionalism and support.

Great real estate agent and personalised service. They were very helpful. I definitely recommend this agent. Once I purchased the property I went away for the Xmas break. In my absence the owner went to the property to check everything was ok during the cold snap to ensure the pipes hadn’t frozen over on a Sunday . Peter and Angela were fantastic .

"We initially used a well known, high end, chain of Estate Agents to market our house. We were given great assurances but received little quality feedback, if any, after viewings. Then we made the switch to Tennison's. There was an immediate and noticeable difference in the service we received. They made time to talk and discuss things. After each viewing we had a meaningful dialogue. They know how to sell houses and we benefited from that experience. When the house was sold (STC), Aubrey working with both parties, pushed and pushed to get the sale over the line. We greatly appreciate the work of Aubrey and the team. Brilliant. Excellent service and local knowledge for rental and sales

I’ve been a very happy client of Tennison property for 7 years - first as a landlord and more recently as a seller. Tennison has unparalleled local knowledge and operates with the highest level of integrity and great client service, which means doing what’s right for both sides - and saying it as it is - even if it’s not what you want to hear. They have been able to secure great tenants and rent levels in line with the market and I’ve had a total of ~10 days without tenants over the 7 years. I recently decided to sell the property, and the sales team turned out to be just as competent - they helped find a buyer in a tricky market - within the timescales I was looking for and have been super supportive and responsive throughout the sales process. Tennison is a great choice if you rate genuinely local knowledge over lofty rent/sales price promises and glossy brochures (although their advertising material is great too!). Big thank you to the team - and in particular Mohammad, Abby and Aubrey.

Tennison were the estate agents managing the sale of the flat we recently purchased. Tried to do a viewing with Tennisons and they proceeded to not turn up. Upon calling was blamed by the receptionist for missing a call with them whilst I was on the tube to the appointment with no signal…..no voicemail left or email sent. Absolutely obnoxious to deal with and a waste of time. Will be dealing/have dealt with better agents in the area.
