Fantastic service, highly recommended

We instructed Sarah Cull from the Salisbury office of S&P to assist with the sale of a property owned by a company in administration (in respect of which we were the administrators. Sarah, Fiona and the rest of the team went over and above to achieve a sale at list price despite a number of hurdles that arose along the way including the original purchaser dropping out. Always on hand to answer queries in a quick, efficient and friendly manner, regular updates and overall absolutely fantastic service. Would recommend and will definitely be using again.

I recently had to decide which estate agent we would use to sell our 20 acre Farm in Ewhurst.I had lived on the farm for over 15 years, and had converted the farm outbuildings into affordable units for letting.We eventually chose Strutt and Parker, and right from the word go, Ken Roberts advised us to split the farm into four separate units, so that prospective buyers could either buy the whole farm or the separate units.Splitting one title into four separate titles is a lot of work. We made good use of Strutt and Parker's mapping team who are land registry approved.This made getting drawings a simple task.We also used the amazing team at Strutt and Parker to produce a brochure showing the four separate units, which once published on the web sites caused a massive response, such that we were getting in excess of twelve viewings per day.We were looked after by an experience team of property sales negotiators who handled all the viewings and dealt with the prospective purchasers.Thanks go to Nadia, Pippa, Holly, Sarah-Jane, Debra,Stephanie and in particular to Jackie who has a special relationship with the solicitors acting for both the seller and the purchaser.Working together the team at Strutt and Parker, sold all four lots and dealt with lots of tricky questions to achieve total farm sold for the price they thought they could achieve from the outset. Terrible experience with Strutt and Parker in Shrewsbury. Started badly with incompetent property detail collation and went downhill from there. They nearly lost us our sale and we had to take over the management from that point on. Would definitely not use them again.

Superb service

Towards the end of last year I viewed and ultimately went on to buy a house in Hastings which was being marketed by Strutt Parker in (unusually) Canterbury. The sale/purchase was handled by Simon Backhouse at that office, who was superb, understood my specific issues and requirements and managed the difficulties of a somewhat long distance transaction so that I never felt anything was too much trouble for him. He understood everything, and gave me good solid advice. I felt myself to be very much in expert hands. (Caroline, who did much of the commuting to and from the viewings, was also a cut above). I would happily recommend this agency, and Simon in particular, to anyone selling or indeed buying a property. Good old fashioned, high quality service, albeit speeded up for the twenty first century.

Amazing service

We recently brought a house through Strutt and Parker. All I can say is they have been amazing from start to finish. Belinda at the Cambridge branch helped us from the minute she showed us around our home , until after we exchanged. She was incredible at advising us on what we needed to do, liaising with the buyers, dealing with solicitors and getting so many answers for our questions. She always responded to emails in a timely manner and was so wonderfully kind. We can not thank her enough. If I was selling my house she is exactly the person you would want to deal with.

We were in the fortunate position of selling our house through Strutt and Parker in Winchester and buying through Strutt and Parker in Salisbury. Which allowed for fantastic communication through a time that could have been difficult. Fiona in the Salisbury office was fantastic and managed to balance the need of the vendors along with our needs to buy the house. She was bright, friendly and helpful at all times. Patrick in the Winchester office, along with the rest of his team, worked above and beyond to get our house moving through these strange Covid times. It was always good to see a member of the team for the viewings. I can’t not rate our experience with Strutt and Parker highly enough.

A Cottage in the Cotswolds

We took a risk by selling our house with a ten weeks completion date in which to find a rental in which to live in the Cotswolds. The market for rental was totally overheated. almost no properties were available. Some agents were very offhand in dealing with us. We were fortunate that a property marketed by Strutt and Parker Banbury became available and their agent actively contacted us in response to our previous enquiry. Through their careful negotiation it was possible to agree terms to change from a furnished let to our being able to take out the furniture and install our own. The property had not been well treated, but the agent arranged that it was spruced up and cleaned before our arrival. The whole process involved considerable work on behalf of the agent without which it would not have been successful. We enjoyed a very personal experience which made our move possible and we can thoroughly recommend S & P's service..

The sale of our house was handled by Marcus Browne in the Winchester office. The whole sale process was expertly managed by Marcus and the service provided by Strutt & Parker was excellent throughout. The sale was very complicated but Marcus handled the whole process with professionalism and true commitment. I changed my estate agent to Strutt & Parker a few months ago because the previous agent was singularly inadequate with no results in sight - not so with Strutt & Parker and Marcus Browne.
