TrustpilotVery good experience; recommended.
We had a very good experience buying through Strutt and Parker. The team was very experienced and knew their market and client well. They were on hand with all the right inputs at the key points needed and I would highly recommend using Janet again - indeed I have already asked Janet whether she would be interested in marketing a different property for us. Thank you from us to the whole team for their support through our recent purchasing process.

TrustpilotThe Strutt and Parker team in Exeter…
The Strutt and Parker team in Exeter led by Ollie have just sold our farm house, a range of stone barns and our Q barn.It started by two visits by the team discussing how to go about the sale and how to divide the property up.We then put it on the market and left them to sort all the problems out. What a fantastic decision that was, It was a difficult property to market but they made it look easy, we even had discussions with them well outside office hours.A big thank you to the whole team, we would not only use them again we have also recommended them to friends.First class service.

TrustpilotAVOID - Lewes Branch
The Lewes branch advertised our house, no feedback at all from viewings, no contact from office despite chasing, messed up appointments and days lost waiting for EPC, totally unprofessional, due to our grievances they had to admit their failures, avoid using at all cost. A complete shower of inadequacy.

TrustpilotStrutt and Parker Canterbury
We chose Strutt and Parker to sell our modern barn conversion in East Kent because of their exceptional local knowledge and first class reputation. We were very happy with their service and with the result achieved. We greatly valued the relationship we developed with Simon Backhouse and the Canterbury office team. Simon achieves the perfect balance between professionalism and the personal touch and he always made us feel that he really cared! He offered sound and practical advice during challenging market conditions and was a constant and reassuring presence through the added constraints and complications of the 2020 pandemic.Once we found our buyer, negotiations and the sale process itself were handled efficiently and with minimum stress to us. We recommend Strutt and Parker without reservation.

TrustpilotGreat support from The Suffolk Office
We used Sharnie & Sophia from the Suffolk Office to successfully sell our house last year. From the initial visit for the valuation to the completion of the sale they held our hand the whole way through. They were very proactive in selling our house & didn't just wait for the internet & Rightmove to do their job for them. They were most supportive through the whole process & especially the problems caused by Covid-19We are not planning on moving house for many years to come but would use them again in a heartbeat

TrustpilotStrutt & Parker, Gerrards Cross
Selling your house can be an emotional experience. You need an estate agent that not only knows the local (and national) market trends but can give you great advice. From valuation to the best marketing strategy; from understanding changing market circumstances to interpreting feedback from viewings; and remaining by your side - through the marketing phase to the all important offer; and thereafter during the legalities culminating in exchange and completion.Strutt and Parker, Gerrards Cross achieved all of these for me and I would not hesitate in recommending them if you are thinking of selling your property. TrustpilotStrutt & Parker : Successful Sale of Hampshire Home
Strutt & Parker ( Ed Lucas in London and Patrick Glynn-Jones in Winchester) Successfully sold our Hampshire home for us in November 2020 and for just under the asking price. They acted throughout in a totally professional manner, keeping us fully informed about the feedback from viewings and courteously keeping in touch with those viewers who had expressed interest. They gave us a lot of helpful and practical advice along the way and calmly steered the transaction to a successful conclusion.

TrustpilotA sterling effort in difficult conditions
We put our wonderful old house on the market in September 2018, just in time for the worst of the Brexit impasse, followed in early 2020 by Covid-19. In these inauspicious market conditions Strutt and Parker worked extra-hard to publicise the house, with features in the Telegraph, The Sunday Times and elsewhere, as well as getting us a free repeat advert in Country Life. The brochure was excellent as was the Matterport 3-D digital survey. Throughout the 2 years it took to sell, they kept us well informed of the market, and the views of potential buyers. We were pleased by the service they provided.

TrustpilotHigh Praise for Strutt and Parker
We bought our new house through Ed Church at the Canterbury branch of Strutt and Parker and we were delighted with the service we received. Both Ed and his team were incredibly helpful and informative and they were quick to keep me updated on any developments with the house we hoped to buy. Luckily we were able to secure our dream home and the whole process from offer to completion was seamless and well managed by Ed and the team. We were able to achieve a pretty quick turnaround from offer to completion which was most useful for us as we had a pretty tight timetable. All in all it was a pleasure working with Ed and his team.

TrustpilotSale of Grade II listed property
From initial enquiry (agents for selling my property) to completion I found Strutt and Parker extremely professional and attentive. Due to the unique nature of the property which included a mix of residential and business elements, the sale process was more involved than anticipated, however at every step, Strutt and Parker facilitated negotiations between relevant parties, ultimately arriving at a sale. Their experience in complex and unusual situations was very evident and key in securing completion. Highly recommended - Kent Agency

In 1992 Strutt and Parker sold me a lovely house in Kent with a small estate, presented with complete honesty as to its drawbacks but clearly showing its immediate attractions, and its serious potential. For the next thirty years, they offered guidance and support as I kept track of the market in deciding when to sell. That led to a very satisfactory sale of the property in 2014 and successful outlying sales in 2020. What I valued above all was the knowledge of the market as it applied to our part of Kent, the clear communication of the situation and the consideration and discretion that accompanied it.

TrustpilotExcellent letting service
I just rented a new apartment through Strutt & Parker in Gerrards Cross. From the moment I contacted Katie and Charlotte in lettings, I’ve had nothing but a professional and efficient service. I had an issue with referencing as I’ve not been in the UK for a long period and hence, my credit history was limited. Charlotte and Katie did everything possible to convince the Landlord that I was a reliable and trustworthy tenant. Thanks to their hard work, the Landlord accepted my application. I also had a few issues within the apartment and these were dealt with immediately and resolved. I have no reservation recommending Strutt & Parker, Gerrards Cross if you’re looking for a rental property or if you’re considering selling/purchasing a home

TrustpilotManaging the difficult things well
We have just gone through a house move which lets just say was not as simple as anyone had hoped, but it was kept on track by the excellent team at Strutt and Parker in Guildford. The process we encountered on our sale was complex, and the relationship with our seller was managed exceptionally well by Jackie - who quite frankly kept the dream alive, and us heading into the house we had dreamed of for our family for the next 20 or 30 years. Lets just say that in comparison to our own estate agency experience on selling - it was night and day. If we ever need to move again - S & P are our first stop.

TrustpilotThank You Chelsea SW10 Team
Meena Patel worked tirelessly to rent my property during these very challenging Covid-impacted market conditions. Not only did Meena successfully close a deal which fully satisfied all my expectations as a property owner, she has secured high quality long term tenants who are very satisfied too! Throughout the letting process both Meena and Petra Duffin provided regular market feedback and advice which has been invaluable. The property management team of Toby Schofield and Jay O'Dell, are first class, and always provide a prompt and efficient service. I continue to be impressed by the Strutt & Parker Chelsea SW10 Lettings and Property Management Team and their sincere commitment to client relationships. Thank you and well done!!

Trustpilot5 Star Service from Strutt & Parker Fulham
Having had a disappointing and lengthy experience with an online estate agency, I called up Strutt & Parker Fulham and Tom Parsons sold my flat in a matter of weeks. Not only was he incredibly professional and efficient in getting an acceptable offer, once the conveyancing process began he kept on top of the solicitors to ensure we exchanged as soon as possible. He was communicative - keeping myself and our buyers updated throughout the process - which is exactly what you want in an estate agent. I couldn't have asked for a better service.

TrustpilotWell done Salisbury office!
Strutt & Parker's Salisbury office acted as my selling agents for my six bedroom home with 13 acres of fields and woods in Swallowcliffe, near Tisbury in SW Wiltshire. Fiona Pengelly and Sarah Cull provided their usual excellent service, and Carola Mangnall showed prospective buyers round. I sold to one of the first viewers. Throughout the process Sarah liaised with the buyers and dealt with any issues. All in all a job very well done in these difficult Covid times.

Strutt and Parker recently sold our property in Norfolk. We were persuaded to reduce the asking price by 7%, which we were disappointed at. Our agent was very helpful until lockdown in February, after which we never saw him again, but only held telephone conversations, until our sale in August. He did not hand over the keys at completion as he was on a day off. we handed over to the purchasers ourselves. Since then we have had no contact, apart from unnecessary advertising by the company. Since the fees were around £15,000, we were disappointed.

If you’re renting a premium property, avoid Strutt & Parker. After 15 years of renting through three different agencies, this was by far the worst experience.

TrustpilotRubbish and unprofessional!
My rental property is managed by the most unprofessional property manager called Shannon Flanagan. She is the laziest, unethical and unprofessional person I've seen working either in property or recruitment. I'm sorry for you if you'll deal with her or Jay O'Dell from Cadogan Street London. The people working at Strutt & Parker make recruiters look amazing. They are rubbish at fixing issues with the property and excellent at ignoring emails about the issues. In my case they claim that the heating system (underfloor heating) is working when contractors sent to verify the system needs significant work to be fixed. I ended up buying a heater and using that to heat the property for 2 winters. In 2019 I told Strutt & Parker that I'm not going to pay for the rubbish SSE heating system since it's not working a bill for £1.5/day just for the standing charges via 2 emails. They didn't decline my request nor commented on this. I sent them all the SSE bills and told me that they are paying them month after month. After a year they are claiming that we never had an agreement and that I have to pay the standing charges even the consumption is £0 after they failed to fix the system. Did I mention that I asked for a heater and I never got one delivered in the middle of January? All these for only £500/week for a 1 bedroom apartment. Got to love estate agents in London!

TrustpilotVery Little Effort Made :-( - Odiham Branch
Poor Customer Service, be careful if you are planning on offering in a competitive market and have indicated such in an email a few hours after viewing as they will make very little effort to contact you urgently. They won't reply to the email. They won't call your landline, they will call a mobile that doesn't connect and leave a message apparently! Doesn't seem much effort either for the fees charged to the vendors either!

TrustpilotThe Ludlow Office
They charged us a very high fee and failed to mention they would be charging us another £650.00 for marketing costs, but hid it in the T&Cs I signed. We never received feedback from viewings unless we chased it up and then they were always slow to reply. They threatened us with legal action for having not paid the marketing fees on the day of completion of sale for my parents house that had been in the family for over 40 years, that was upsetting.
