Eight years ago, my wife and I considered entering the buy to let market. With limited knowledge and a lot of apprehension we took advice from Lyndon, who guided us through the process of our first purchase. Now four properties on, the service of L&A LETTINGS remains exceptional and provides us with a worry- free source of income. If I could give it a 0 star I would ! An absolute nightmare of an agency to deal with from a tenant perspective. Right from the beginning when I rented - issues , lack of contract in place literally until 2 days before moving in I didn’t know if I actually secured the place. Head of lettings didn’t even bother to let me know what is going on, it was me constantly chasing and trying to find out what is going. The real saga started however upon vacating property. Various agents arranging viewings of the property without prior arranging with me, random viewings at 8 pm without agreeing upon. To the point when the guy who was meant to do the check out never turned up and nobody bothered to inform me. The attitude of staff there is another story , it’s almost like they’re doing you a favour ! I was told to come to their offices to drop off the keys or send it via recorded delivery (on my expense!) after being stood up by their staff. Now I’m sure getting a deposit back will turn out to be another mayhem ! Please avoid them at all cost ! Not worth the stress ...

Terrible. Do not let through them. They failed to pay the tenants deposit on time (meant to pay to me to register, did not bother, chased them for a week, finally they did themselves but late) 2nd rent is now a week late and have no idea if it has even been paid by tenant as I haven't heard from them, not very good service for rent collection I expect them to be checking on the day and letting me know if any problems. Obviously it takes a day or 2 to go from one account to another ie streets ahead to me but its been a week. Absolute shame of an agent, wish I had never used them.

We have been a tennent now with L&A letting now for 4 years and would never look back. As a company they are great and would do everything to help you and have done everything to make us feel welcome. We have just had our new cooker fitted which was supply'd by Ann and Lindon and we love it. We have built up a great relationship with Ann and Lindon and don't just look to them as our landlords they have done everything to help us out and couldn't wish to have met 2 nicer people Company and great people would certanly recomand to anybody !!!!! Utterly appalling service ever since they took over the management of our house , no rental agreement sent , no notice given about increase in rent , takes weeks to get anyone to come out if something wrong , do not respond to emails and when you eventually get to speak to a human being they have no idea what is going on and say they will respond in writing or email and they don’t . Wish I could get hold of my landlord and tell him not to waste his money on them managing the property because quite frankly they couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery . Don’t go near them !!
