We recently bought a house with Stow Brothers in Walthamstow and couldn't recommend them highly enough! As first time buyers we were totally new to the process and they explained everything to us, and answered all our questions. Their communication throughout the buying process was great - extremely clear and diligent. The team were very friendly and approachable, and kept us up to date at each stage from viewing, making an offer, exchange and completion. Thank you very much!

They have a policy of asking potential tenants for a "best and final" offer. It's incredibly frustrating and brutally biased towards getting the maximum offers for the landlord at all costs. You can either secure a property by bidding well above the market price or risk losing it having wasted your time - no respect for tenant time and money.I secured a property but left as soon as the minimum contract period ended. That's what the above policy results in - tenant churn. Beware landlords, there is a hidden cost getting above-the-market offers with Stow Brothers.They also didn't contact me to return my the deposit, I had to chase them up. Didn't send me a leaving inventory, just radio silence since I left the property.

As a Buyer I'm always wary of estate agents but the folks at StowBrothers were super helpful.Against the backdrop of a tricky sale due to the circumstances of the selling party, they really helped move things along to keep the sale going. My rep was Samantha who was a pleasure to coordinate and generally deal with. She was prompt on emails and called if anything urgent came up.Would happily work with her and StowBrothers again.

Every property I've viewed with the Stow Brothers has had people queueing outside because they overbook their time slots. They invariably claim it's because they got the keys late or something similar but they only ever offer viewings on a Saturday and they wait two weeks from when they first list the property before starting to conduct viewings.They then give no feedback regarding offers except to request a "final and best offer" by the Tuesday following the viewing. It's an appalling way to treat people clearly designed to put as much pressure on the buyer as possible.

GoogleI’ve recently completed a purchase of a new home with Dan and Niall which was an extremely complex case that was successful thanks to Stow Brothers amazing service! They were super proactive - keeping me up to date - and leaned into all aspects of the process to ensure a sucessful outcome. If/when time comes to sell, I’ll definitely want to work with Stow Brothers again.

DO NOT USE STOW BROTHERS EVEN IF YOU ARE DESPERATE!Rubbish company.These cowboys who think they know it all approached me to list my property. I said I wanted to list for around £650k and these cowboys said: “your property aint worth that much and we are the professionals and it is our job to know and tell you how much a property should be sold for” so I asked how much and they said £550k, what mugs. I just sold my property for almost £620k and in less than 5 weeks, I had the money in my account.They are looking for easy sales, easy money with no effort whatsoever and will act like they know it all. Please do not use these cowboys or you will whipped!

We have viewed countless properties now with Stow Brothers and made offers on several. They take nice photos and craft flowery listings that draw attention, their default approach seem to be to request "offers in excess" of a far lower price than they expect them to achieve, simply in order to generate huge amounts of interest.They do not attempt to work with potential buyers to carry out viewings, preferring to set a date, usually a Saturday, at least two weeks in the future where they cram in scores of people in back to back 10-15 minute blocks. Offers are then invited on the Monday to which they then respond, without fail, that they will be doing Best and Final offers. This lazy approach means the agents can sit back and do little to no work presenting, managing or negotiating the offers, whilst buyers are left in the dark and vendors have to do all the work.Communication is appalling with requests for information being ignored and news of any delays in the process not being passed on.

Have only just started house hunting and in the area I’m looking, The Stow Brothers are the main agent. After almost 2 weeks, They have only responded to one of my requests for a viewing and when I asked if it would be possible to find out about the others so as to book a few on one day as they were very close to one another, the agent was very rude and dismissive and told me she was really busy and was only booking one property at a time. Since this time, I’ve heard nothing from them and am considering cancelling my viewing so I don’t have to deal with them going forwards. They seem to be more interested in sellers than buyers. Very disappointing.
