Thomas W went above & beyond to keep me updated at every step of the process & answer any questions I had, including calling to check I had received emails that I needed to action quickly to ensure I didn't miss out on the property I wanted. I've had bad experiences with estate agents in the past but this was incredibly smooth & I would definitely use again. Highly recommended.

GoogleAvoid at all costs. The branch outsources property managers to an external department who avoid answering the phone and take ages responding to emails. The company quotes crazy management rates and then charges double the market rate to organise basic tasks such as getting a gas safety certificate. Either manage your property yourself or go to a different estate agent. Will never use again

GoogleShameful attitude from staff coming to the end of the agreement with my deposit. If i knew they would be rude like this in the first place i would have stayed homeless. Spoke to senior management after countless requests from the rude agent and even they were rude and condescending telling me they had giant choice and giant savings, definitely not! Will never recommend to anyone. Would give 0 star if i could. Only use them if you want to get spun. Avoid

GoogleTrying to get onto the property ladder is stressful especially being middle-aged and with less time to make mistakes! I really appreciated Claire and Jamie who went beyond the call of duty considering I did not have enough funds to by a property from them. Despite this, Claire sat me down and went through properties I had viewed from other agencies and gave sound advice and Jamie called me to find out how I was getting on and relayed his own experiences and pitfalls to avoid. They are the best realtors I have met so far. For them it is not about the commission, they genuinely care. Thanks Claire and Jamie, I was really truly grateful for your input.

He has come across in a very professional manner from day one, always available to be contacted, even outside of the core working hours. After the initial few properties not meeting my requirements, he was quick to get back in touch with a relevant place. Although it was above my budget he recommended that I come and see it to make an offer, this worked out very well. I feel the way Zak dealt with me as a potential tenant was outstanding, he is a true asset to your company and reflects your core values strongly.

GoogleBrilliant team and Claire was an absolute pleasure to work with for my sale. Very knowledgeable and driven, she even emailed and called on her vacation. Highly recommend using Townends for you selling needs. My sale was not straight forward and Townends made it feel easy.

GoogleUnhelpful and unprofessional. When selling a property I expect those who consider themselves the experts to be the ones to guide, lead, and advise on the process. I can't attribute any of this to the service I received from Townends. - Misled on selling price - Different employees, asking conflicting questions and/or providing different advice often within days of each other - A seemingly lazy approach to the art of selling (all they could suggest was "lower the asking price" over and over again, without offering any real insight to viewing stats and/or demand vs supply in the area - No apparent care for my best interests - Clearly not clued up on the type of property I was selling (shared ownership) I could go on, but all in all a terrible experience and a complete waste of 3 months of my time. What made it worse was that within just one week of moving to another clearly more educated estate agent, my property has sold.

GoogleMoving can be stressful, it is filled with highs and lows . I found Townends to be great , Shyanne was lovely, cheerful friendly and kept us up to date every step of the way ,which helped make the transition smooth and drama free .. and of course my move resulted in views from my new balcony ,which as you can see ,make it all worth while .
