GoogleDealing with Stanford estates in Catford has been a pleasure, they gave good honest advice. David told us as it is, and yes, there are always going to be companies telling you what you want to hear, but David was bang on the money. We had a couple of offers and he got us the best possible deal, what is a daunting task, was made easy, and we cannot thank the whole team for the excellent service, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

GoogleDisappointed at the lack of communication and feedback we received during the time we used their service. No dedicated agent was appointed for the sale , so viewings were made with agents who did not know the property resulting in lack of feedback with us having to chase for information from the viewings all the time. We complained to the store manager with no improvement, with the last viewing taking 4 days to get the feedback which was then for the wrong viewing. We emailed to cancel the contract and went into the shop to collect our keys with again no communication just handed back the keys with the impression they couldn’t care if we sold our house through them or not.

GoogleI used Stanford Estate’s services as a tenant for almost 4 years. Throughout that period. Susan Shitima, the property manager assigned to us was extremely responsive to any and all issues regarding our tenancy and conducted herself in an ethical, compassionate and professional manner. I recall a couple of issues with unreasonable neighbours and misunderstandings with a landlord that Susan reacted to and resolved compassionately and impartially. As a husband and father of two this was greatly appreciated. I recommend Stanford Estates to anyone needing to enter the rental market.

GoogleDavid was great from start to finish when we were buying our flat. He was very knowledgeable of the local market and gave sincere advice. We not once felt pressure from him, as we have with other agents, and he was extremely communicative throughout the whole process and called regularly with updates or to check on how things were progressing on our end. GoogleWe sold our flat in Catford with Stanford and we were really impressed with them from start to finish. David Vincent was our main point of contact once the flat was on the market. He was responsive, helpful and calming, especially when the first sale fell through (no fault of Stanford). We always fell well informed and well looked after through all points of the sale. GoogleStanford managed our flat sale and house purchase, both in Catford. They were friendly and professional from start to finish. Jack, David and the team made sure the photos were just right so we were able to sell in no time. Our purchase was a little tricky with covid and a long chain to manage but Jack put the time in on the phone to make sure everything went through as we needed it to. I would recommend Stanford to anyone looking to buy or sell in Catford because first, they are good at what they do and will get the job done for you and second, they are a bunch of good people with personality - that makes them fun to work with.

GoogleThe experience with Stanford was professional, honest and reactive from start to finish. I originally listed my flat for sale with a different company, but after they took terrible photos and failed to sell my flat within 3 months I switched to Stanford who took much better photos, were far more professional and sold my flat within 2 weeks. Thanks to Alex and Jack who managed the sale smoothly and were honest, realistic and did not give false promises (unlike many other estate agents). Would highly recommend.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone selling in the area- from start to finish they have all been professional, optimistic yet realistic, and incredibly 'human' and personable. Always very professional to communicate with and timely in his responses alongside supporting our purchase by dealing directly with our chain agents when required. Earlier in our search we dealt with other branches within the Stanford network who were always very personable and actually listened to our requirements before suggesting appropriate properties to us.

The agent, David, was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, but most importantly (and refreshingly) not pushy at all! We never felt like we were being given the 'hard sell', which enabled us to relax and feel confident in our purchase. GoogleI dealt with Alex from Stanford Estates when he was the vendor's agent on the property I purchased in Catford. The whole process ran smoothly from start to finish event though we were in Covid lockdown the entire time. This was helped in no small part by Alex's hard work and professionalism throughout. Even though this was my vendor's egant and not appointed by me, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them

David was across the purchase status at all times, chased where necessary and above all kept us well informed through clear and regular communication - an area where so many fall short.
