This a photo of a rat at one of their properties the place is infested with mice and large rats, there’s no heating and the bathroom is disgustingly dirty and Newhan Council is paying this unscrupulous landlord £1050 a month for a room in this disgusting nasty place the landlord should be prosecuted and having to stay in there with the rats himself and his staff.

They are just a bunch of fraud people, they will take your money and render u helpless, I ordered mobile display folder from them, luckily I chose COD option and paid 150 rs as advance, I never received my order and even they never cancelled my order, resulting in loss of 150 rs. They will never pickup the calls nor they will update u on email.

Just to say this company has restored my faith back in humanity. Put down a deposit for a room for my daughter when she was refused Halls accommodation only to be told a few days later that she did have one. Even though when I signed the contract with Tarek I was told the deposit was non refundable but when I explained the situation he kindly RETURNED the FULL deposit . 100% trustworthy and very friendly and approachable . Would use Sparemove when my daughter needs to get an apartment ! Thank you Tarek

I was initially asked to submit a review prior to getting my bond back and saw reviews on here indicating others were in a similar position. When one sparemove employee ceased passing on the rent to the property owner, the owner took legal action to have sparemove evicted from the property. I don't know the legality of this, but the result was that all tenants were "evicted" at short notice (~4 days or so). Huge amount of stress. The remaining sparemove employees were fairly unapologetic - just refunding the bond and rent paid thus far - no accountability for their actions. Stopped answering calls and poor communication through this stressful period. Contract was a "licence to occupy" and I was dubious of its legality - maybe to stop someone from being sure / knowing their rights with regard to the Landlord and Tenancy Act; apparently nil as they explained to me. AVOID.

I stayed with Sparemove in one of their East London properties when I first moved to London after being recommended by a friend. Tarek (their director) was helpful and flexible from the start, arranging viewings, contract signing and key collection around my hectic moving schedule. Upfront fees and deposit were refreshingly affordable and referencing painless, and I felt respected and trusted as a tenant (unlike many of London's hostile and dismissive estate agents). I was able to specify a tenancy length and payment schedule around my needs, and throughout the tenancy Tarek was easy to contact and attentive, including personally coming round on a Saturday to look at a faulty heater. I absolutely would recommend (and have recommended) sparemove to anyone looking for a room in London and wish Tarek and the team all the very best for the future. Matt, Upton Park

I moved recently to one of the property managed by Sparemove in East London. The accommodation is perfect; it is a nice clean house with cleaning lady coming every second week. All requests were taken care of by Tarek in a smooth manner. He was very helpful on the day of the moving in and made sure everything have been arranged as we discussed before. Everything is as it is described in the contract. Tarek takes good care of his costumers and made me feel important for him; his hard work is well appreciated. I can only recommend his services.

Terrible service when dealing with an AST property in my family portfolio. Treated it as an opportunity to do rent to rent HMO, without a license. When handing the property back, there was numerous examples of wear and tear throughout the property. Sparemove’s ‘fixes’ to marks on the wall was simply to paint over it, which obviously sticks out compared to areas of the wall with the original paint. They quibbled over covering the full cost to return the property to the standard they received it in, we’ve ended up out of pocket as a result. Absolutely rubbish service, would never use again.
