We're genuinely very sorry to hear that you feel this way. Having looked into this, you asked to be allowed to leave the property two months early. The landlord kindly agreed to this on the basis that a replacement tenant was found, and you were given the opportunity to find a replacement tenant yourself, as well as us. The current market value of the property at that time was higher than the rent you were paying, and we have a duty to the landlord to achieve the highest possible rental for his property. The fact is, we found find a tenant at the higher figure although, unfortunately for you, they were unable to move in until after the end of your contract. Your rent was not increased. You had actually been paying below market value, and did not actually pay the final two months rent as contracted. We would be happy to discuss the matter with you if you wish, and wish you well in your new home. R.B.

Unfortunately, for some reason, you haven't identified yourself or provided any details at all. We would like to investigate what you say and provide a substantive reply, but it is impossible without any information. I would appreciate it if you would message me via Google My Business messaging with at least some details about what you have said, including who you are and who the 'others' you refer to are as I am extremely surprised to hear this. Actually, we don't have any control over tenants monies, and can only act on the instructions of the landlord. All clients monies are handled in accordance with very strict guidelines, and we always return tenants money immediately we are permitted to, and pay all rents to landlords the same day they are received. We are unusual in the industry for doing this, and have awards for our customer service. If you genuinely believe that either ourselves or the landlord have handled your money inappropriately, you can make a complaint to the TDS or PRS. In the meantime, I look forward to hearing further from you with some details. Thank you. BC

Hi Gloria, sorry to hear you weren't happy with the service you received. I have spoken to our lettings team who inform me that on one of your properties you requested they delay marketing until your son had recovered from Covid, and were awaiting the all clear from you as agreed. It appears to be be a misunderstanding, but If you would like to provide more information to propertymanagement@sovereign-house.com, we will happily look further into this for you. I can confirm that your other property was marketed immediately as requested.

Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, you failed the independent referencing process due to supplying incorrect information about your income. This caused a considerable waste of time for ourselves and lost income for the landlord. You were made fully aware in writing that a deposit is non-refundable if you provide misleading information or do not pass referencing, which is industry-standard.

Unfortunately, you don't say what issue you had. You were renting a property actually managed by your landlord, not ourselves, so there normally wouldn't be any contact between any tenants and ourselves during the tenancy. If you did experience any other issue, I'd be grateful if you would message on Google My Business with details so that we can investigate further.
