SJW Sales reviews

I’m sharing my experience to help others make a more informed decision before renting through this agency. Norbert was good but he was the only one. While I was a tenant, I paid a high level of rent and made sure the property was well looked after at all times. Despite that, the overall service fell short, issues took far too long to be resolved, and communication was often lacking. Sean service was abysmal. The biggest problem came after I moved out. My deposit was not returned for several months, and there was no response during that time. Natalie only replied after I escalated the situation to the TDS, and that too on the final day before the deadline. It felt like the delay was deliberate, leaving me with no choice but to formally intervene. This was very unprofessional from her part and I cannot believe this company works with such incompetent people. She made unrealistic claims and when the dispute was reviewed, most of the claims against my deposit were not upheld, which says a lot about how the situation was handled. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this scammy and incompetent agency at all costs.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with SJW Estate Agency. As someone who was renting for the first time, I expected the process to be stressful and overwhelming, but they made moving into my first home feel so smooth and straightforward. Jamie was absolutely fantastic throughout, so professional, incredibly helpful, and always on hand to answer any questions I had. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and I felt completely reassured every step of the way. They met all my needs, handled everything so efficiently, and took away any worries I had. I genuinely couldn’t believe how easy and seamless the whole process was. The service was excellent and the quality was truly top-notch. I would highly recommend SJW to anyone looking to buy or move home!

This company provided a terrible service experience. Repairs were slow and inefficient, communication was slow, and responses were lukewarm. The whole process was disappointing and caused a lot of trouble. I even checked reviews for this company on Trustpilot beforehand, but couldn't find any specific information, which makes me question their transparency and reliability. If you're considering using this company, I suggest doing more research first; based on my personal experience, I wouldn't recommend them.

A big thank you to Jamie for handling everything so seamlessly and making the entire experience stress free. He was very professional and understanding. His positive attitude, and genuine care really put my mind at ease as l felt l was in good hands. Even while he was on leave he still assisted here and there showing much dedication. Thanks to Norbert as well who partly assisted while Jamie was off. Thank you gentlemen.

I would highly recommend Norbert to anyone looking for a place in London, especially those relocating from abroad.

Norbert has been really helpful the last few weeks in assisting me in looking for an accommodation in London. His replies were rather prompt which made things rather smooth and efficient. On top of that, Norbert would go the extra mile to explain what we had to complete during each step of the application process. Highly recommend Norbert if you are looking for an apartment in London 👍🏻

Very good team! Giving my house to Sega was the wisest choice! I love everyone on the team! As we have a time difference, I always leave messages during UK non-working hours, but to my pleasant surprise, the team members react quickly after seeing this, which makes me both apologetic and pleasantly surprised! And lvan is very capable. He helped me solve a very difficult problem. In fact, I gave him the problem myself, but he did not complain, but worked hard to help me get the results I wanted! Also, John is very approachable, funny and makes people feel at ease! The founder Sally is a woman I admire very much! I feel very relieved to have such a team of angels serving us in a foreign country!

I moved into a lovely flat in London back in late June with the assistance of Ivan and Sean. The whole process went smoothly and I was incredibly pleased. Unfortunately, I had to recently move out abruptly due to an unforeseen serious illness. Ivan and Sean were fantastic during this very difficult time and were very supportive and assisted me in severing my lease as quickly and easily as possible, which would have otherwise been a very stressful process during such bad circumstances. I really appreciate their kindness and professionalism and therefore I would recommend SJW to anyone searching for a property within the area that they cover and would certainly be happy to deal with them in the future. Thank you so much.

Ivan helped my partner and I find an apartment in London. We had some pretty severe restrictions which made his job harder - we were living in Ireland and wanted to do remote viewings, and we were bringing four pets with us. Through the whole process, Ivan has been wonderfully responsive, and understanding of our needs. He found us a beautiful apartment in a vibrant, pet-friendly area. The virtual viewings were thorough, and having them on video allowed us to look back over the property at our leisure. Ivan has been a pleasure to work with, and we're grateful for his help in finding an ideal property for our needs.
