Just sign up- you won’t regret it!!!

I had heard about online estate agents before with mixed reviews and when it came to sell my house I decided to check them out for myself. Obviously the reduced cost is the biggest draw but I was worried that may mean a lack of standards/ local knowledge/personal service etc. I approached a couple of agents with initial enquiries and found them slow off the mark and slow to reply to emails. However, I had a completely different experience with Sell My Home. Having contacted them on a Saturday evening I was completely surprised and impressed to get an immediate response from Tom Hardcastle answering all my queries and following it up with a telephone call the next day. Tom continued to answer all my queries and assigned me a personal account manager Laura Anderson to manage my house sale. Laura was just as impressive as Tom, showing excellent knowledge of the current market and trends, plus local knowledge from online sales. Laura gave sound advice throughout and was incredibly patient with my anxious phone calls after viewings. She chased people for feedback and, once I had secured the offer, managed the whole process and chain for me until exchange and completion, chasing estate agents, solicitors and giving me regular updates. Laura truly is amazing at her job! The standard of service was way above a high street estate agent but the most important thing for me was that everyone I spoke to at Sell My Home were friendly, genuine and trustworthy. I have always hated the money grabbing duplicitous nature of estate agents but these guys are certainly a different breed. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home. Sale of house

I sold my house in Wales with Sell My Home. It was first experience of selling and wasn’t sure what to expect from an online agent but I did my research first and Sell My Home was rated very highly. My sale completed this week and I cannot rate the service I received highly enough. I was assigned an account manager and very rarely spoke to anyone else but when I did always found them to be helpful and efficient. The online appointment booking is simple to use and once a buyer has been found they keep in touch with all parties to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Excellent Experience. Excellent Value for Money.

I've been dealing with the SellMyHome team on and off for over a year and they have all been fantastic: well-informed, helpful, patient and supportive. Maybe best of all, it doesn't feel like you are talking to estate agents - they are professional, not pushy; friendly without being fake. I would recommend them to anyone.SellMyHome offered all sorts of services to enhance the basic excellent-value package, but were never pushy or money-grabbing down the phone. My situation was more complicated than some but Anna Willis, my main negotiator, was unflappable throughout, offering sound advice on price negotiation and the state of the housing market. Sell My Home were awesome.

Sell My Home were awesome.From initial conversations with Tom and throughout the sales process with my account manager Laura, I couldn't fault the service. They were always at the end of the phone. I had a call every Tuesday from Laura with a progress report. The whole thing was seamless, stress free and above all, extremely professional. They also arranged for my floorplan, photos and EPC to be done at a time convenient to me. I would recommend Sell My Home without hesitation. Fab service from people that care. From first contact to my moving date was only 4months. Just brilliant and I also used their recommended conveyancing solicitor. Again, always available to answer queries and great attention to detail. All this for a great price and no commission. Give them a call, you'll not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience - thoroughly recommend

I had a fantastic experience with SellMyHome. I used them to sell a one bed flat in London (chain-free). From the word go SellMyHome were very efficient and professional. Communication was brilliant and I was kept updated on developments throughout the sale. While I did the viewings myself, SellMyHome organised the photos (which were great) provided tips and followed up after each viewing with the potential buyer to get their feedback. I paid the extra £200 for completion services and I'm very glad I did - it meant SellMyHome did all of the chasing with the buyers' solicitors and dealt with a number of issues that arose in a very efficient manner. I couldn't have asked for more and would recommend to anyone. I dealt with Laura Anderson mostly, who was brilliant, but all of the staff I spoke to were very helpful. Save your money and go with SellMyHome! I will definitely be using them again in future.

A buyer’s perspective.

I recently purchased a house that SellMyHome promoted. From a buyer’s perspective, I had excellent service. Robbie was my point of contact and always responded promptly to emails and telephone calls, and was generally helpful with the various issues that arose. I would also like to recommend the 3D virtual tour to potential sellers. When I originally saw the house on Rightmove I was not that interested as it was not in an area that I was interested in. However, I took the virtual tour which sold the property. The house had unusual features and a lovely garden which were not immediately obvious from the photos. This tempted me to view a house that I would not otherwise have considered.

Experience of a first time user

I have always used High Street estate agents in the past, and have bought and sold many times in the last forty years. When it came to my recent move, my Son was very keen that I should "move with the times" and use an online agent. However, I was very apprehensive about it and did not know anyone who had sold through an online agent. I went into all my local traditional estate agents to see what they would offer in terms of fees and services. I felt comfortable doing my own viewings, knew what my property was worth, and only really needed them to take the photographs and put my property online on, for example, Zoopla and Rightmove. The agents told me "horror stories" about using online agents - particularly emphasising a lack of follow through (or progress chasing) once a sale had been agreed - and they were not willing to negotiate on selling fees in any way. After reading as many online reviews as I could, I finally took the plunge and called SellMyHome, as they had 5 stars and great reviews. I spoke to Tom and he ran through my three options - Pay in advance, pay in advance with a small additional amount to cover a kind of insurance so my fee would be refunded under certain circumstances, or pay a higher amount once any sale had been completed. I opted for the middle option to give me that little bit of extra reassurance. Within a few days, the lovely Abigail came with her amazing equipment and took lots of photographs, and then did a 360 degree recording of every area of my home to produce a virtual tour - I had never seen one of these before and it was quite remarkable to see the results online. I wrote the "blurb" myself, which makes sense as I know my home and the area, but I also had the services of Anna who was my designated project manager, and she read through what I had written and added her own touches. I was very pleased with what we produced together. From speaking with Tom to going live on Rightmove, etc, took five days. I had two viewings and two offers, and completed the sale in less than a month. Anna put myself and my Buyer in touch, and all three of us spoke regularly throughout the sale process to ensure we were all on the same page at all times - this was especially useful when dealing with solicitors, who could appear to be blaming the other side for any delays, as we all knew exactly what was going on. On the odd occasion when Anna was unavailable, everyone else I spoke to knew exactly who I was and what was happening. Unfortunately, I was gazumped on the first two properties I was trying to purchase (both through traditional agents!), but I was so grateful for the ongoing support from Anna throughout the ups and downs - she was very good at calming me down when I called her in tears twice in two weeks. I will definitely be using SellMyHome again. I loved having more control of the process and knowing exactly what was happening at every stage. Saving more than £2,500 was really just the cherry on top of a perfect experience!

SellMyHome were fantastic agents!!

SellMyHome were fantastic agents when it came to selling our flat. I was really impressed from the moment we signed up with them and knew we'd made the right decision. We had put our flat on the market with a high street agent and had been unsuccessful and wanted an agent that we could trust and that would give us a good service (which SellMyHome gave us). We felt it was valuable to get the help and support when it came to negotiating the offer and also to complete the sale. Robbie was absolutely fantastic and kept us in the loop at all times. He chased our buyers and dealt with lots of prickly situations along the way with professionalism and integrity. He gave his opinion to us when we needed it and it was beneficial to have one main point of contact. We have no doubt that SellMyHome was the best choice we made when we put our flat on the market.

I wasn’t sure whether using an online…

I wasn’t sure whether using an online agency would work for a grade 2 listed semi rural cottage - thought they were more for London flats. However, after doing some research we decided to try sellmyhome, and have been really impressed. A larger online agency came round to value the house, but I didn’t get the impression of personal attention from them that I was looking for. From the first, Robbie, Gina and Anna were fantastic. Their friendly professionalism impressed not just me but also the people who came to view, several of whom mentioned how pleasant and efficient they were. Great portal, very smooth organisation of viewings and feedback, great communication; we sold quickly and at the value sellmyhome placed on the property, actually above the asking price. Selling your house via an online agency does require you to put the effort in, but you are very well supported and guided by the experts at sellmyhome. We paid for the completion pack too, and are happy we did so as it meant there was someone keeping on top of all the moving parts to maintain the momentum. Overall- no hesitation in recommending them, they really are a cut above the competition both on and offline.

Fabulus from start to finish...

I had two plots of land to sell and decided to put them on the market with a traditional commission-based estate agent. We had a couple of viewings over a period of three months but no proper interest. I then found SellMyHome.co.uk by performing a search for alternative companies to help me to sell. I dealt with Tom Hardcastle who was fabulous and the whole process was completely seamless - our internet marketing was up and running the same day and looked great. We had a viewing booked within two days and both plots were under offer by the end of that first week. Amazing service for the price paid

Amazing service for the price paid. If you are comfortable showing people around your house then this is the way to go. I looked at a couple of online estate agents and Sell My Home were the most accommodating and friendly from the outset. The add on follow up service provided after we had accepted the offer from our buyers was exceptional, especially considering the difficult legal negotiation we experienced. We dealt with Laura Anderson who was a delight, she clearly understood my requirements from the start and also treated me like a human being and tailored her manner to my personality. I can't recommend this company enough.

Why did we even hesitate!

Slightly apprehensive about using the SellMyHome on-line service but it could not have been easier or better. We worked with the SMH team on the property description and then sat back. Immediately we started getting emails with name of applicants and suggested viewing times that we could accept or change. We soon got into the swing of showing the house and giving people time and space to really see the place. We then received a useful offer but less than we wanted to accept. That's when our excellent SMH contact, Laura, came into her own. She helped negotiate the price up to something very acceptable and then made sure the solicitors on both sides got on with it and stayed focused. She was impressive. Amazing service and product, it’s so easy it’s the way forward and saved me thousands

I would describe Sell My Home as Simple and Very Professional. I have sold a number of houses in the past through the normal high street agent, so using my first ever online agent I was sceptical to say the least, however from the first point of contact with Tom Hardcastle it became apparent very quickly that I should have done this ages ago. Tom and all the team from Sell My Home were without doubt professional, very knowledgeable and extremely customer focussed, far more so then my experiences in the past with high street agents. The online app was simple to use and the online presents on right move and Zoopla was brilliant. I received multiple offers within the first week and when I accepted an offer the support did not end there, Tom Hardcastle and his team continued to support all the way through from offer to completion. I'd recommend SellMyHome without hesitation

The SellMyHome team were excellent from the beginning to the end of my house sale. I paid the up-front fee and added a couple of premium listing options to ensure my property was at the top of the local searches. Charlie, Katie, Harry and the team were extremely diligent throughout the process, with regular updates on the stats for the property during the 'sale' phase. I sold my property within three weeks of the initial listing. I took the completion management option after the sale, too, though I'd say if you're organised like me and are willing to push the process through yourself, completion management might not be the best option. I was quite sceptical at the thought of an online agent but - without hesitation - I'd recommend SellMyHome to anyone looking to sell their house quickly, reliably and efficiently via a dedicated team of experts - and you'll save yourself a fortune in the process.

What a great company with a brilliant team of people! I was initially sceptical about using…

I was initially sceptical about using Sellmyhome to sell my property as I was concerned that they may not be as good as the traditional high street estate agents. However, after reading many positive reviews online about this new approach to buying and selling property, coupled with the significantly lower costs, I decided to give it a go. The cost was the main factor in deciding to use Sellmyhome as I was selling a property valued in excess of £500,000. From initial contact, through getting my property ready to market, they were absolutely fabulous. The information provided helped me to market the property how I wanted, giving me complete control over marketing material and property showings. The way they structure their offering, with various enhancements, also allowed me to pick and choose precisely the level of support I wanted from them. They kept me fully up to date with feedback received from interested parties and I was able to view and accept/reject any offers online. The sales manager (Harry Hooper) called me every time he had information to provide and generally updated me on progress every week. I had a buyer who was involved in a particularly difficult chain and Harry patiently dealt with them (and me), by keeping the parties advised of progress all the way through the legal process to completion. By communicating with the two solicitors and other parties, Harry was able to nudge the sale along whenever he felt that things were progressing slower than they should be. Harry established positive relationships with both solicitors and knew exactly what was happening and communicated progress as necessary. I would have no hesitation in using Sellmyhome again. They were very professional and I highly recommend them. As pleasant an experience as selling a house can be!

Excellent communication, superbly efficient and highly professional.

Sellmyhome were efficient, professional, friendly and responsive (when compared to the traditional estate agent that we tried initially). We had zero viewings with the traditional agent/around 20 viewings with Sellmyhome - and a huge saving on agent fees too. The photography and marketing were exceptional. We also liked the online dashboard and booking system, which was so helpful and easy to use. However, Sellmyhome also offer excellent, personalised telephone support, with dedicated individuals who follow through from chasing up feedback on viewings, negotiating on price through to ensuring the sale progresses smoothly. Always pro-active. We can not fault anything about the service - excellent in every respect. Thank you Harry, Tom and the entire team.

Outstanding customer service! Give them a go!

Initially I was a little sceptical about using an online agent, however after reading the rave reviews on here I thought why not!? I wasn't disappointed and Sellmyhome have lived up to the expectation. From the initial callback from Harry after 30 seconds of filling in my details online through to Katie and her team assisting me with getting my property listing looking as good as it could and Charlie overseeing the viewing process and subsequent completion management, I cannot praise the outstanding customer service enough. I have recently sold my property in Tooting

Great experience and saved thousands!

I decided to use Sellmyhome for the sale of my London 3 bed flat after being impressed with their service when going through them to arrange a viewing for a house I was interested in buying. The agent I dealt with was helpful and diligent in her follow up and I decided to take the chance and use Sellmyhome for our own house sale, which I thought was worth it given the extortionate amount high street agents would have charged. I was so glad I did as it saved me about 7,500 after the successful sale of our place. What's more, being in direct communication with viewers played a huge part in me getting the price we wanted for our place. I'm sure speaking to viewers about our place gave them greater confidence in the information about our place, bringing a more human element to the process. I had a very hands on service from the start, with Tom talking me through each stage of the set up process. I wrote my property description, using helpful guides from Sellmyhome and examples of other properties for sale in my area and prepared our house for the property photos. The online portal was very easy to use, we were about to set our availability easily and I made arrangements directly with viewers. It was a bit of work, but we'll worth the huge saving I made in agent fees. Our agent, Bianca was fantastic, following up with viewers for their feedback and giving me updates several times a week. Our house sale went through very quickly, in about 2 weeks and I think this was largely down to being in direct contact with viewers.It was also really useful being in direct contact with my eventual buyer, helping the legal process of the sale go relatvily smoothly.I recommended Sellmyhome to a friend of mine and he found a buyer in a few weeks after not being happy with the service he was getting from a high street agent.Basically, with a high street agent, you are paying thousands for them to write your property description and arrange viewings. Completely unjustifiable in my opinion.
