Savills Auctions helped me achieve a quick sale via auction and I was very impressed with the price the team got and the service they provided. It was a tricky property to sell with various legal complications and I was very pleased with the advice they gave on the transaction. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a professional auction experience.

Here's why you won't get a property Bargain at Savills. In their terms and conditions, currently at section A3 of their Common Auction Conditions of Sale (but it may move when they read this), it is clear that both Savills and the seller can bid against other bidders to achieve their "reserve" price. In other words, you will not get market value, because they're artificially inflating the prices to their desired amount. You won't see that in Homes Under the Hammer! You'll think you "won" the bidding war, and got it at the best price you could. Actually, you got it above the price that the seller and Savills decide. Unlike the official reserve price, which you can see, you won't know when it's the market (another genuine bidder), the seller, or Savills bidding against you, which is totally unfair. Seen this in London many times, it has helped make it unaffordable for those of us who live here. Awful.

One of my best auctions, very helpful before hands and hopefully many more time to do it with them

First and last time I deal with Savills I wouldn't buy or sell a wendy house through them.

As a novice seller I was both surprised and delighted at how helpful Savills were. Most pertinently the price guide they suggested was completely accurate and ahead of my own estimate and the amount of interest they claimed I would get also turned out to be spot on. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or to recommend them.

I Came to London this year looking for a property and I was so suprised with how good the savills auction team were. The service , the manner and overall all round morale really helped me with my decision. I would definitely use savills again. Cheers auction team

Avoid at all costs they change the guide prices increasing it by some 60% hours before auction after you have viewed it several times, Registered, down loaded Solicitors, READ OTHER REVIEWS.. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID...

Terrible service, staff don't even know what reserve price was quoted to me 15 days ago, gave a guess reserve £100,000 below previous quoted reserve. Will never sell with this agent and will now no longer be buying from them. Very bad service!!!

Savills did a great job. The team were kind, helpful and had a strong knowledge. They assisted well with the house buying process and were organised and professional throughout. They were a delight to deal with and I would definitely use them again!

Twice now I have called Savills before an auction and enquired regarding a lot, both times I have been promised an email or a call back and it hasn't happened - not impressed with their customer service

Called everyday for 3 weeks enquiring about a property - was constantly transferred and told someone would call me back, was totally ignored and messed around - terrible management

Have only had a positive experience with the auction team at savills. In particular, when I have enquired about a property pre-auction the response time is extremely quick and the assistance provided is really helpful.

Savills Auctions sold a commercial property for us in Decemeber. I was very impressed with the service I recieved, as well as the final sale price. I will definitely use them again!

Worst company to deal with in my experience. They are so ineffecient in their work (the entire management) that it takes persistent chasing.. and still waiting!

I have found Savills auctions an easy, straightforward and plain speaking company. The staff are friendly helpful and knowledgeable. I will continue to use them as my default auction house and would highly recommend others to do the same.
