George at Savills was instrumental in the successful disposal of our hotel in Cornwall, achieving an auction result that exceeded our expectations. His advice was clear, commercially astute and supported by excellent communication throughout the process. More recently, George has provided strategic advice in relation to one of our more complex development sites. His pragmatic and well-considered guidance has been invaluable in supporting our wider portfolio rationalisation. I would strongly recommend George Goucher.

Following Probate I was selling an 8 bedroom house in North London. Within 24hrs of contacting Savills Auctions I met at the property with James Mackie on 3rd Oct.; the property was added to the Nov. 5th auction. James was contactable and responsive at all times and he had arranged viewings within days of our meeting. On 22nd October we accepted an offer for the guide price (£2.4m) and exchanged contracts 2 days later - 21 days from start to finish and pre-auction. The service and expertise was 5 star and I cannot praise James and his team highly enough. Savills made the entire process stress free through their expertise, efficiency and professionalism.

George took us through the whole process with laser efficiency and explained all the aspects we needed to know with clarity. He was patient with our questions and we would not hesitate to recommend him. We were delighted with the outcome based entirely on his recommendations. Thank you George

Within a few hours of enquiring, Savills' Ben Fletcher responded with a very helpful and clear explanation of the process of selling my small urban in-fill plot in North London. This was my first auction as a vendor, Ben took me through the marketing and sales process, and recommended a fantastic solicitor who was also outstanding. The sale generated a huge interest, we achieved a great price, and the sale went through very smoothly. I'd highly recommend selling with Savills and Ben Fletcher.

I have found the service from Savills to be extremely disappointing from a buyer’s perspective. I recently purchased a property at auction and completed a few days ago. However, it took over 72 hours and more than 100 messages just to arrange key collection, and I still have not been provided with the alarm code, meaning I cannot properly access the property. Having completed multiple auction purchases with other companies, I have never encountered such issues. Ensuring buyers have access to their property upon completion should be a fundamental priority, yet my experience with Savills has been marked by unnecessary delays and a lack of urgency from staff. It is unacceptable that access to a property is delayed simply because the weekend is approaching and employees are unavailable. I cannot recommend Savills based on this experience and will be sharing my feedback on Trustpilot and social media to ensure other buyers are aware of these shortcomings.

I run a probate house clearance company called Just Clear and I've entrusted Jay at Savills auctions for so many of our client's property sales, since 2012 and each time our clients have been so happy with the results. Savills is a brand name you can trust with no other motive than selling your property at the maximum value possible. Thank you all.

James has been a great help in providing a service and very efficient. He also helped me get in touch with the vendor for direct discussions. Great help all round.

Had a great experience with Savills when I purchased a property in Feb 2024. Had a slight concern but Mr Paul Mooney went above and beyond to solve it, a true gentleman. Would definitely use again

Mr. Mackie made our first auction purchase simple and extremely smooth. We were very happy with how easy it was to participate and having him on the telephone made a huge difference.

Highly professional, efficient and friendly service. We bought after the property didn't sell at auction and Kathryn was excellent at explaining the auction process as we were buying under the same rules. She got back to us super quick …

I have used Savills time and time again throughout the last five years. They are always fair, trustworthy and reliable. I have always worked with Steve but recently worked with Kathryn and both have been knowledgable, professional and quick to reply!

Purchased a garage via auction from Savills. No keys provided and the place was full of old junk, which I had to then remove at my expense after paying for a locksmith. Initially they did respond to my email re keys, but were then no longer interested after following up. Disappointing.

Very poor. Twice sent Rightmove inquiry over last week or two and no one has bothered to respond. I even got an email to confirm it’s received but still no call back! Furthermore I called them numerous times, couldn’t connect with anyone. Won’t bother going forward with any properties associated to Savills again. Maybe too good to be true…

3 unanswered phone calls, no response to message, no response to email. But what really irked was taking the time & effort to research and view a property, register to bid, view the day before at an arranged viewing (the only person to turn up), go online for bidding on the day - and find out it was sold out from under me. If someone's registered, supplied their card details/solicitor/proof of funds, and viewed, why on earth would you allow a seller to accept a pre-auction bid? And if you did, wouldn't you inform those who'd registered? Happens all the time - all's fair in love, war, and property auctions. But would have expected considerably better from Savills.

Will not use Savills auction for selling again as they provide a poor service. Don't inform you of anything without a push. When it came to the auction I had two keen bidders who almost offered the reserve price but £1000 short. However after the auction these bidders vanished into thin air with no explanation from Steven Morish as to why? Money completely wasted and very sceptical about the whole auction process!

Signed up for a telephone bid but on the day of the auction and after waiting patiently most of the day because the property was one of the last ones to go to auction they managed to mess up ringing us what a waste of time would not use savills again. We later found out they had some type of incident which meant our details where lost but they did say if we wanted to bid in the future they would take care it I don't think so if they can't manage a phone call then no never again.

I recently sold an investment property at Savills auction. The sale price exceeded expectations and the team were enthusiastic, efficient and highly knowledgeable. Many thanks especially to Max M and George G! I will definitely be using Savills auction team again.
