My experience with Chiara was extremely disappointing. From the start, it felt as though there was very little attention or care given to my enquiry. In the end my calls for updates were ignored. There were also basic knowledge gaps that shouldn’t exist at this level, including not knowing that a Grade II listed property does not require an EPC, which is something any competent agent should be aware of. Even simple details were mishandled: I was referred to as Mr in emails despite not being a Mr…. While I’ve since secured a tenancy with an equally reputable landlord and paid one years in advance, my experience with Chiara did not reflect the level of professionalism or client service expected from a premium agency. Based on my experience alone, it’s a one-star review.

Charles Cutting and his team performed estate agency miracles for me. My house had languished on the market (admittedly in a volatile selling environment) for months with no joy, but Charles and Toby got not one, but two offers at asking price in 4 days flat. This team understands this is not just about bricks and mortar, but about people and their feelings - for want of a better word. They quite simply put the right buyers and sellers together. Their service during the exchange to completion process was utterly professional. Even my solicitors said the same. They are a class act and deserve 5 stars.

Toby was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge of football nearly matched that of real estate. He got me reservations in Florida, which at that moment were near impossible. He was thorough, trustworthy and a guiding hand when needed. He was tapped in to both sides and the title negotiator fits. He also didn’t mind doing the small things. Like shoving his phone up a flue in England so my American guys could get a look. He worked hard and kept things smooth when they could have been rocky. Nicola, who is a property manager, is absolutely fantastic. She is well organised, on top of everything, gets back to you right away regardless if the issue is big or small (she even replies when she is on leave!) and on top of all that she is a really lovely person. She is a fantastic asset to Savills, as, unfortunately not everyone at Savills has been great (hence only 3 stars overall though Nicola deserves 6 out of 5 stars 😜) Nicola is truly outstanding at what she does. We were extremely impressed by the help and advice given to us by Imy Blunt from the Savills Mayfair office. She greeted us with a huge smile, a strong handshake and enormous charm when she showed us a house in Albion Street represented by Savills. Although it was not suitable for us she spent a lot of time enquiring about our particular needs. To our surprise, a few days later she invited us to view a much more suitable house represented by a colleague in another agency. She showed greater initiative and understanding than the buying agency we had been working with for 9 months. We did not purchase it but we were very impressed she had paid such attention to our needs. On her recommendation we are now represented by the buying company affiliated to Savills, Prime Purchase. We think very highly of Imy and would recommend her to any other buyers or agents.

We were so sorry to lose Nicola as our property manager because she changed roles, as she was absolutely amazing; but we need not have worried as Pritesh Makwana has taken over and been incredible from day one. Claire Reynolds has been in the real estate business for 16 years and loves her job. You can tell - she is extremely good at it and I have never seen her without a big smile. I have been very impressed with her professionalism at every step of selling our family house. At the start of the process we got three different valuations and hers ended up being spot on. She and Savills' PR department worked very hard to present our property in the best possible way - I was very pleased with the listing particulars and our post received over 8,000 likes on Savills instagram account. Claire gave me feedback after every viewing, remained positive and Savills sent regular updates on progress. Claire had a targeted approach - the first viewer through our front door ultimately was our purchaser with her second viewer just as keen but, due to Covid restrictions, slightly behind in timing. So many prospective purchasers now have buying agents. Claire and her expertise weights the odds in your favour. She also worked to protect us from the inevitable static that can arise in the period between a successful offer and exchange as a result of the purchaser’s surveyor, architect, buyer’s agent and solicitor all trying to get the very best for their client. She is commercially minded and drives the deal forward with an iron fist in a velvet glove. Claire is very supportive and every interaction I have ever had with her ends by her saying “ Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help”. Her recommendations of two conveyancing solicitors (ours had retired to Malta) and a removals firm were all excellent.
